This build mostly uses the Risen Lord shape for great damage and resistances (50% slashing and piercing). The drow comes in handy for those times when you need spell resistance or want to slow down a quick foe with your cold attacking sword.

All the other shifting forms are there for the fun factor/role play and combat usefulness such as Rakshasa shape for those really tough wizards.
