The only thing that I hate playing other than elves is a caster. So this is my first shot at both. Though it leans more to the melee side I still consider it a caster. (to me anyways)
He excels at dispatching other would be Assassins and has come to earn the title of...
Shadowblade
14Wizard/10Shadowdancer/16Assassin
Advantages Epic Dodge Hide in Plain Sight Level 7 Wizard Spells BAB of 55 w/6 Castings of True Strike 5 Attacks True Seeing (Can spot other Assassins)
Disadvantages Low Hp 310(Max) Death Attack DC of 29 (which isnt horrible, just not reliable) Only 28 AC Naked (Semi Decent I thought for naked caster)
Starting/Ending Stats STR 12/12 DEX 18/30 CON 12/12 INT 16/18 WIS 8/8 CHA 8/8 Raise Int at 4,8 Raise Dex for the rest
Um thats 15 Wizard/10Shadowdacner/15Assassin
I built something similar but only used 2 Shadowdancer Levels and upped the Wizard levels to 17 for 9th level spells. Final levels: Illusionist 17/Assassin 21/Shadowdancer 2.
The Improved Evasion, and other high level Shadowdancer feats aren't necessary because most immunities come from defensive spellcasting such as Shadowshield, Greater Stoneskin, Premonition, Energy Buffer, Improved Invis, Empowered Stat Buffs, Mind Blank, etc.
Additionally you get damage shields, have a very nice AC, and in the worst situations you can cast Greater Sanctuary and vanish from all enemies and safely rebuff your character.
Oh - and the Assassin Death Attack DC is something like 10 + 21 (levels) + 6 INT +6 Empowered Fox Cunning and items = around 43 usually.
Quite a nasty enemy to have to deal with. Especially when he has several ways to stun, hold, or grasp you while he takes his time casually chipping away at your HP.
He needs the SD levels for epic dodge though if he wants to keep that feat.
I tihnk halfling would work better _________________ "Ïf thê øñlÿ wäÿ før mê tø bê wïth ÿøù ïs ïñ ä drêäm thêñ lêt mê drêäm førêvêr"
