I tried to make an UnarmoredIconic Weaponmaster but after putting in all the advantages listed below it ended up being a little meta. But still a great build IMHO.
Note: The weapon I speak of in this build was included in the CEP pack and uses the greatsword model.
And by all means if your blademaster is about to face a major battle, strap on your Samurai armor, you wont be losing much of the 6 monk levels.

Our Blademaster was born inside a monestary where he was brought up by monks which prepared him for the intense training into becoming what he is today. Even at this young age he could move very quickly and catch arrows in mid flight.(Deflect Arrows) He developed godlike quickness(Running Speed) from catching snakes with his hands and became quite resistant to the poison.(Purity of Body)
At the proper age our Blademaster was taught to wield a sword(Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialisation) after he could properly defend himself with his hands and feet. He was also taught how to move around the field of battle effectivly(Spring Attack) while striking with a raw power at multiple targets.(Power attack, whirlwind attack) He was introduced to his soul weapon. The Nodachi.
After learning the basics our Blademaster focused on keening(Improved Critical) his abilities with his NoDachi. Effectivly learning how to block attacks(Improved Expertise) as well as cutting down one opponent after another.(Great Cleave)
Upon leaving the monestary to pursue his purpose in life he grew into a strong and nimble man.(Greath Str/Dex Feats) His skill improved in battle to the point where he could strike a foe dead and possibly everyone around him with a quick flick of this blade.(Improved Whirlwind Attack, Great Cleave, Devastating Critical) In times of dire need, our Blademaster has focused his Ki to provide him with an intense power of speed and quickness once a day after the proper channeling. While in this state the normal world sees his movements as a blur.(Blinding Speed)
21 Weaponmaster - Great Dexterity I 22 Weaponmaster - 23 Weaponmaster - Epic Weapon Focus 24 Weaponmaster - Great Dexterity II 25 Weaponmaster - 26 Weaponmaster - Epic Prowness* or Armor Skin* 27 Weaponmaster - Great Dexterity III 28 Weaponmaster - 29 Weaponmaster - Improved Whirlwind Attack 30 Weaponmaster - Great Strength I 31 Fighter - Epic Weapon Specialisation 32 Monk - (KD/IKD) (Tumble 35) 33 Weaponmaster - Great Strength II 34 Weaponmaster - Overwhelming Critical 35 Weaponmaster - 36 Weaponmaster - Great Dexterity IV 37 Weaponmaster - Blinding Speed 38 Weaponmaster - 39 Weaponmaster - Great Strength III 40 Weaponmaster - Devastating Critical

Edit: Just thought I would mention if the Blademaster were to ever become separated from his soul(disarmed) that he would have 6 attacks 1d8 +7, starting at +36AB
