Here's an interesting build someone told me about on my server last night. Pretty cool concept and the character can really dish out damage when fully equipted.

Dragon Defender: Sorcerer 8/RDD 10/Dwarven Defender 22

STR: 14 (30)
DEX: 15
CON: 16 (21) assuming you will find a few +CON items...
WIS: 8
INT: 12 (14)
CHA: 12 (14)

Saves with no equiptment:
Fort: 38 (23 base, +2 Dwarf, +2 Defensive Stance, +5 CON, +6 Spellcraft)
Will: 35 (26 base, +2 Dwarf, +2 Defensive Stance, -1 WIS, +6 Spellcraft)
Reflex: 27 (16 base, +2 Dwarf, +2 Defensive Stance, +1 Dex, +6 Spellcraft)

Attack Bonus:
BAB with normal STR bonus and feats (no buffs, no magic items):
BAB: +39/+34/+29
2Weapon BAB: +35/+30/+25/+35/+30

+2-6 (from Bulls Strength, Defensive Stance, and other STR items), +20 (True Strike), +5 (or higher from magic Weapon Bonus).
2Weapon BAB with maxed spells and equiptment: +66/+61/+56/+66/+61

Armor Class:
AC with +5 Equiptment: 43/51 with +5 shield
(+5 Armor, +5 Deflection, +5 Dodge Boots, +5 Natural Armor Amulet, +1 Dodge Feat, +1 Dodge (Mage Armor), +4 RDD Natural Armor, +8 from Plate, +1 from Plate Dex bonus, +4 Defensive Stance, +4 Tumbling)

Damage Factors:
Scimitar 1-6 [12-20/x2] + (10 STR) + (1-2 Bulls Str) + (1 Defensive Stance) + (+5 Weapon properties minimum) + (1-4 + 8 Flame Weapon)
On Crit x2 plus (1-6 Overwhelming Crit)

Battle Axe 1-8 [17-20/x3] + (10 STR) + (1-4 + 8 Flame Weapon) + (1-2 Bulls Str) + (1 Defensive Stance) + (+5 Weapon properties minimum)
On Crit x3 + (2-12 Overwhelming Crit)

Alternately this build can be modified to use a Two Handed weapon for maximum damage. This would free up three feats which were used for two weapon fighting and three Stat points which were being used to get DEX to 15. 13 should be more than enough for the Dodge feat.

Hip Points: over 600 to play with...

Other notable abilities:
* Darkvision
* Immunity to sleep
* Immunity to paralysis
* Immunity to fire and multiple castings of Prot From Elements for other elemental damage types.
* Defensive Stance 11/day (Gain +2 Str, +4 Con, +2 on all saves, +4 Dodge Bonus on AC)
* Defensive Awareness (Dex bonus to AC even when flat-footed, cannot be flanked)
* +4 Natural AC
* A pet Pixie to open locks and handle traps.
* Critical Hit on 12-20 for the Scimitar (45% chance) or 17-20 for the Battle Axe (20% chance) ensures lots of damage is dealt and has a good chance of instantly killing anyone who takes a crit.
* All attacks miss 50% of the time thanks to Improved Invis, and those that do connect have to get past 21 points of Damage Reduction.
* +2 saving throw versus poison and versus spells (Dwarf)
* +1 attack against Orcs and goblins and +4 AC against giants (Dwarf)

Buff Spells:
* 5 First level Sorcerer Buffs 7x/day (Mage Armor, Prot From Alignment, True Strike, Identify, Ray of Enfeeblement)

* 3 Second level Sorcerer Buffs 7x/day (Flame Weapon, Bulls STR, Death Armor)

A good build. But you have some errors.

The maximum possible +ab from magical enhancements (not including enhancements on STR) is +20. It will say otherwise on the char sheet, but that lies.

I thought there'd be a way to get 4 attacks; but unfortunately DwD's stupid requirement of +7 BAB gets in the way (sorc6/rdd4/dwd10 or, if rdd only required 7 lore, sorc4/rdd8/dwd8). If only it was +6 req!

Also, doing RDD8 pre-epic wouldn't hurt your BAB and would enhance the lower levels a bit (plus you could get your wings at 21!)

So the maximum AB anyone can ever get is +20? Then what about all of those Epic builds the Bioware posted? I thought a good number of them used True Strike on top of stat and magic bonuses.

Also, there is more reason behind the 6RDD before 20th. You have to be 5th level sorc minimum to open up RDD, so you may as well take 6th level to get the +1BAB and get the +1 to all saves at 6th. And RDD4&5 do not add a high enough BAB for the Dwarven Defender class. So you need exactly 6 levels of RDD--which in turn also gives you a +1 to all saves. In the end - you wind up with the highest possible Saves and BAB for this class combination which is +15.

I try to build practical characters that can actually survive to 40th level and that other players would use. None of that, "take one bard level at 37th to max out tumbling and spellcraft." If you could make it that high without those skills, you more than likely don't need them. There is no "5 levels sorc min" for RDD, though given, that with your class choices you have no core class to fill in for the first four levels. I could be wrong but isn't the max number of PrC levels before L20 10? In this case you would need to take L10 S then L10 RDD and the final 20 levels DD (or better 2 levels of Sor as you gain very little with L19 and 20 DD).

The maximum level of EACH prc class is 10, so he's fine. In fact you can have 17 prc levels pre epic if ya do it right.
