Superb Build
Too bad it hasn't been on the Epic Builds page I guess it was never submitted for consideration.

perhaps put that last point of wis into STR to balance the stats as ending on odd stats never helped anyone, wis 30 str 14?
good or bad improvement?
str will be overwritten in most shapes anyways, and with an uneven wisdom (I think ending wis is 31) it evens out with +11 wis from the druid levels, so it evens out in the end for 1 extra ac _________________ "First you get the spoons, then you get the women" -Hawk
If you aren't bothered about the extra 1 AC, though, you could drop Wis to 17, Str to 10, and raise Con to 16. Con is seldom overwritten by changing shape and +2 hit points per level is a sizeable gain.
I only wish it was a bit more playable...It's a great build, but an epic shifter who doesnt have epic shapes until lvl33 is kind of weird, as undead shapes are really helpfull in mid levels...

my thoughts exactly.. be buggered if I'm going to wait till 33 for the RL.
I've played this through on my own PW. I had made some adjustments due to equipment and to take advantage of Animal Empathy (there is a collection of really cool animals to control on my PW, and equipment that means my Animal empathy checks are around 110 in most forms [seems to work fine shifted]). While I'll be perfectly honest and say upfront that I did powerlevel it a bit, I did not find too many problems at all even in some of the really tough places. In fact; my bigest problem was getting some weapons for the build.. something you would face with any build. This was also my second or third ever shifter.. so I played the build through with little or no knowledge of how to really play it to it's best capability.
an more balanced alternative in the lvling process would be something like this imo:
Short Summary, by lvl 12 you have 4 shapes that you can really use. Bear and Minotaur with Imp Knockdown are you offensive shapes Wyrmlings and Gargoyle with Imp Expertise are your defensive shapes. You also can use an Empowered version of Bulls Str, which should help out a lot You have some lore skills so you should be able to ID items on your own. (if you want to take Lore)
Small Summary: Ok so at lvl 24 you have the best defensive shapes. You have the Risen Lord and Epic Gargoyle. the following few levels will be a bit slow, but will 'explode' around lvl 33 and up. 25) Druid 14 - Concentrate , Spellcraft
39) Druid 22 - Concentrate , Spellcraft (last chance to get animal empathy) Feat: Armor Skin * or Greater Wis
40) Monk - Concentrate, Discipline*, Hide, Move Selently, Tumble (and what ever other skills you feel like getting) +wisdom
This build gets dragon shpe 3 levels earlier, and its balanced for play by taking certain levels at a certain time. you can say that the build is broken up into 3 or 4 parts part one is lvl 12 part two is lvl 24 part three is lvl 36 and beyond

I would assume that the creater left the wisdom at 31 because Owls Wisdom will raise her wisdom by 11 points (half of the druids level) giving a final wisdom of 42 (+16 mod.). This will give a brilliant DC for the spells. 10(base) + 16 (modifier) + Spell level. So a DC of 36 for hellball. An extremely good build. I might of added Dragon Knight spell instead of hellball due to summoning preferences and the extra hand in receiving damage from spells like IGMS. Dragons are good to fight with

Hallo everybody ... just a almost n00b question :
Could be a good idea to lose 1 lv of druid and take 1 more lev of monk? That should be only for make this character building more playble at lower lvs ( in a low magi / gdr server ) ?
I'd lose maybe the infinite druid animal shapes , but my druid could gain some profit ( in playbility terms ) with ac at mids lv ...
is it a bad idea ?
Another question : If I keep 22 druids lvs , could I take a second epic spell like epic warding?
ty
Epic Warding isn't available to Druids (nor Epic Mage Armor - just arcane casters) and the one monk level was for pure powergaming purposes - not to dilute caster level too much. Druid 22 was taken for her to get +11 WIS from the spell Owl's Insight and considering that shifters are most powerful in ultra low magic worlds (unless a high magic world has a script so all items shift, shifters don't kick so much ***) I wouldn't want to drop it. If this isn't a consideration, go ahead and take monk ealier. This is a power-shifter build - maybe some of the other more playable shifter builds would suit you better like that Druid 17/ Shifter 17/ Monk 6 one.
Her leveling order isn't ideal; you might want to mess with it a bit to get the shapes earlier. I don't know how effective the epic spells Druids can get are - they don't seem to good IMO and with so few Druid levels, their worth is questionable though I suppose it's cool to clear a room in a shot. _________________ .:\_/:. obviously it comes from a most famous build i'm just trying to let him be more early playable ...
