The basic idea here was obviously to get a capable melee/magic hybrid with PvP in mind. To some degree it falls into a jack of all trades' expected shortcomings with low DCs on spells, the AC isn't what you'd ideally want, and it has an unbuffed max hp of 299, but with the endurance spell and some CON eq, it isn't unreasonable to expect mid-400s. Yeah, the level 20 class splits (5/11/4) are ugly, but it was the only way to make the crucial feats (dev crit, auto still spell 3) fit and you get 16 BAB. That being said, if you steer clear of spells requiring a save and stick primarily to buffs for your arcane spells, you can have a relatively versatile character who, even against crit immune opponents, is capable of a great deal of damage per round between acid sheath, elemental shield, death armor, flame weapon, divine might, and the paladin buffs.
