Lately I've been trying to think up weird and wonderful character builds, and this is the first result. This build is completely untested so far, so I can't post stats like attack bonus and such yet. It's also my first posted build, so constructive criticism is very welcome.

Longbow w/Rapid Shot: +30/+25/+20/+30
2 Mundane Short Swords:

Comments:
The Death Rogue is very good on defense, not so much on offense. Pretty good as long as he can get his sneaks in.
Biggest weakest appears to be Undead.

Still needs some refinement, but I'm going on vacation, so i'll take it up again sometime next week.

I like the build, personally I have never seen this before. I would recommend raising your intelligence to 18 so that you gain 43 extra skill points, more spell slots and gain the full opportunity to use your level 8 spells.

and gain the full opportunity to use your level 8 spells.

level 8 spells? I might not fully understand how spells and pale-masters work...but thought as with only 5 levels of wizard he would only be able to cast 3rd level spells.

The class description of a Pale Master states:

"Every 2 levels, the pale master gains additional spells per day, as if they had leveled in their previous spell caster class. This gain only applies to spells per day and not caster level."

This doesn't really make things the most clear, but I interpret this as gaining uses of the spells (3 1st level spells goes to 4...etc) rather than gaining new spells & spell levels...can u cast a level 8 spell with a caster level of 5?

You do gain spell levels from pale master. However, that would not get you to level 8 spells. 10 pale master levels would be the equivalent in terms of spell levels and spells per day of 5 wizard levels. With 5 levels of wizard and 10 levels of pale master, this build would have the spell levels and spells per day of a level 10 wizard. So, he'd have 5th level spells.

However, your actual caster level does not increase with pale master levels. He'll have 5th level spells and the slots of a 10th level wizard, but in terms of damage, duration, and spell penetration, he will be considered a 5th level caster. So, his Fireball would still only do 5d6 damage, Haste would only last 5 rounds, and spell penetration checks would be 5+1d20, etc.

He can't. Aside from that, he has never even claimed he can.

ok, how can this character utilize 2 short bows?

He took the two-weapon fighting feats so he can fight with two short swords in melee, and he took point blank shot and rapid shot so he can fight well with a bow in medium to long range.

Steve ok my eyes played a bad trick on me it is 2 short swords
