Grimnir77 mentioned Rangers... here's a character concept I find interesting.

playable 1 - 40 PvM

Introduction:
Mighty Warrior of the North

Perhaps novelty (but not novelty as in "it sucks but I think it's kewl ^^"; it may not be a 'maximized' build, but it is playable and even fairly good). Go figure ;x

Race: Human

Attributes:

Starting
--------
Strength 15
Dexterity 8
Constitution 14
Intelligence 12
Wisdom 14
Charisma 14

Ending
------
Strength 26
Dexterity 8

Intelligence 12
Wisdom 14
Charisma 18

Levels:

35. Paladin12
36. Paladin13 - Great Charisma IV
37. HS4
38. Paladin14
39. Ranger21 - Bane of Enemies
40. Paladin15

NOTE(S?): I chose Gnomes (xD), Dwarves and Humans as favored enemies. Wants Craft Wand. Knockdown and Blind-Fight can be changed around. Substituting two of Improved Critical/Knockdown/Blind-Fight with Great Charismas is a choice, too.

I know what you're thinking, too: why only 4 levels of Harper Scout? Well, let me tell you. 4 levels is well than enough, as it gives you Cat's Grace and Eagle's Splendour (which is what we're going for). The extra Great Charisma is a nice bonus. I didn't go with 5 HS because I found losing Bane of Enemies or one Paladin level too big a sacrifice for an extra feat.

And you're thinking that he has only 3 FEs. Well, 3 FEs is better than 0 FEs *grin* Just pick the toughest enemies around and you'll be fine

i liked using these classes together when i made my build. i used less ranger, which was my only regret. nice use of hs (only 4! wow! ). nice use of cha for a warrior.

Very good. Your AB ain't half bad, and with all his self buffs he will even hold his own VERY WELL! What will you lose with giving up 1 Paladin? If you do, you can get 1 more HS, taking great CHA with that, and trading one of the general great CHA for Armor skin, netting two AC. Depends upon what you lose.

An another thing you hasn't mentioned. Smite good. ! certain hit each day with 10 extra damage MIGHT just be what you needed to tip the scales your way. It's there at least.
Nice job.

You give up your level 4 Pally spells (Holy Sword), unless you can pump your WIS with items to 18+. (This would serve to give you the bonus slot from 18 WIS for access to level 4 spells).

A Pally with Smite Good?!

Hehe, you've been playing too many BGs!

Interesting build.

Level 14 paladin has access to level 4 spells but can cast 0 spells/day only. With WIS 18 he gets a level 4 bonus spell slot so he can cast 1 level 4 spell/day.

The 15th level of Paladin maximizes alot of spells, such as Divine Favour and Greater Magic Weapon. And since you can max your Charisma with your spells only, I think it's fine as it is.

Thanks for the comments all.

My suggestion was not about raising your CHA, because it won't. It will give the same CHA, but +2 AC. Oh right, sorry. Nevertheless, I think the 15th Paladin level is well worth not having Armour Skin. Besides, using a shield is possible, too, if more AC is needed.
