Playable from level 1 - 40 ..PvM, Good luck with PvP <--- How to Deny Griphook editing rights in 1 easy step

Aim of this character is to provide a caster who can avoid a bit more melee damage than your average pure Wiz, particularly vs the hated Dev Crit (main weakness of Epic Warding)

Two ways of accomplishing this:

Quick author's note now:
This character is nothing earth-shattering, just filling a hole. There are an excess of Wiz/SDs that try to include PM levels also or go melee. SD is a defensive class (if you exclude the one obvious ability) - this is an attempt to utilise it.

Two ways of getting Epic Dodge: Rogue or SD.
Already stated building a caster.
Casters need lots of levels for DCs, SR checks and of course Spells.
Rogue requires 13 levels to get Epic Dodge (*)
SD only requires 10.

30 levels in Wiz pointless, no bonuses, hence possible third class?
Nothing really stands out. Rogue chosen to get UMD and Search/Trapping as well as no cross class spending on Hide/Move Silently.
This leads to:

Comments:
Strengths:
Weaknesses:

I personally tend to dislike builds which have <<insert any of the following: Epic Dodge, Epic Warding, Dragon Form etc>> at level 40. I don't find them fun to play. Hence although RGE/SD levels could be taken later, I opted for reaching a sustainable caster level (19, 9th level spells), before getting Epic Dodge, then taking Epic Warding at the earliest any build can attain it.
Take the RGE/SD later if you want a higher UMD etc.

Overall:
Not bad, could be fun.

Doh! One keg on it's way to you Sir, may it do more harm than good
And while we're on things that I did wrong, nitpickers might note I took Epic Warding at lvl 33 when the earliest you can take it is 31.
No biggie though, just slap a few more points in SpellCraft, a few less in Conc at level 31

Ty tho for pointing that out, Alignment is "Whatever you want it to be"

The following statement is true.
The above statement is false. With 24 Intelligence your spell DCs will not cut it. I would leave Intelligence at 20, use the usual IGMS and drop the spell foci altogether

Now is my day's work done;
I'll take good breath:
Rest, sword; thou hast thy fill of
blood and death. you might want to exchange rogue with bard lvls ... uncanny dodge you get from sd and bard also offers you umd .. but you can also max out discipline , with disc as a cross class skill you ll get kd ed all day everyday. also you should have so many saved skill points you could max out taunt , prolly fit epic dkill focus taunt in (if u take bard on 39 ) and help your meatshields with ropping opponents ac , also its very useful in caster battles.

you could also rop wizzie to 26 lvls (your dc wont get that high anyways so you will rely on bigbies ,igms , sheaths and warding , disjunct and a strong meleer at your side ) and take 9 monk and 5 sd , you would get more ac , speed and epic dodge but this is another build ...
