OK having never made an Archer before I decided to give it a go...many go down the Monk avenue, using the extra monk speed to run away like cowards

So having thrown together my build I thought it would be a good idea to look and see if anyone had trodden the ground before so to speak...a quick seatch revealed this version: Click Here

This goes more down the cleric route, also using Zen Archery...I think overall the build I am about to outlay is a lot better overall, though it lacks 6th level spells.

So without any further ado, I introduce the Divine Archer

Playable 1-40 PvM though also performs admirably PvP

the Divine Archer (cleric 9, bard 2, arcane archer 29)

Race : Half Elf (Elf may give a higher finishing Dexterity, however it would also give an XP penalty and further reduce HP)

Alignment : any Chaotic (for Bard levels)...Neutral is a better all round choice as it avoids Smite attacks, however slightly boring I play this build as Chaotic Evil - maybe just because of the truely evil fully buffed attack bonus ...or just my penchant for evil-laugh smilies!!!

Attacks (nonmagical bow) :

58/53/48/43 - BAB 26, + 3 wf/ewf, +15 imbue arrow, + 14 dexterity

not bad for starters...now with a little buffing: +1 bless, +1 aid, +2 prayer, +3 divine might, +4 divine power, +1 bardsong -> 70/65/60/55

throwing in a +12 weapon & +6 from ability boosting items and u have a truely sick attack bonus:

88/83/78/73

Cleric domains for this build I would choose are Trickery (improved invisibility lvl 5) and Earth (stoneskin lvl 4 & energy buffer lvl 5)

Skills:

Perform 7 (6) <--- gives maximum bardsong for a lvl 2 bard, +1 attack +1 damage & +1 will save
Tumble 40 (54) <--- +8 Dodge AC

this leaves 101 skill points to allocate as desired, Discipline really helps, I love UMD as well so maybe Max them out with rest going into Spot.

Saving Throws:

Fort - 23
Will - 23
Reflex - 36

HP - 316 (maxed)

AC (naked) - 32 (10 base + 8 tumble + 14 dex)

Spells by level:

1st - 6 2nd - 6 3rd - 4 4th - 3 5th - 2

...and that's that!!!

I think I've managed tp get it all in there...but I may have made a couple of mistakes (spelling & Cleric spell attack bonus compatability!)...cheers to everyone who reads this build and enjoys...

Divine Might? You don't have Divine Might and it only adds to damage. I guess it's Divine Favor? And isn't Prayer only +1 to AB?

Also bonuses to AB are capped at +20, so the highest AB possible should be 58 + 20 (spells, weapon) + 6 (DEX boosting) = 84 (+1 within 15 feet from PBS).

Character Build Calculator(works with Excel, Open Office) 2.83: updated to NWN 1.69. err I think I was meaning Divine Favor...I did say there were probably some mistakes with the Cleric spell AB bonusses...however I didn't realise that there was a +20 AB cap...though it would seem logical as there is a +20 cap with pretty much everything else...thanks, still an AB of 84 isn't really too bad either though
