Playable from level 1 – 40 …PvM

I made this character because I wanted to make a plain fighter and see what I could do with all the feats.

This is a pure fighter build. I have made an earlier version, a Fighter 30/CoT 10 , but I've reworked it for those of you that prefer playing pure class builds.

This build is a melee character, Strength based with a one hander and shield.
My wish list was:
Good AB, damage and reasonable AC, with decent devastating critical DC.
Adaptability with different fighter moves (knockdown, disarm, expertise, PA) and different damage types (slashing main weapon and blunt backup weapon).
I have also tried to improve the saves the fighter gets by choosing appropriate feats. I chose dwarf because of the high Con and the class bonuses to saves.

As a plain fighter type this character depends on either good items to adventure alone, or a party that can supply him with buffs. I had PvM in mind when I made the build.

*The main weapon is a slashing weapon that gets devastating critical. You can choose Scimitar if you want lower nominal damage, but higher critical threat range. You can also choose Battleaxe if you prefer a higher critical multiplier (and stick to the dwarven stereotype for RPing reasons).

I generally avoid temptation, unless I can't resist it... Nice build. Pretty good saves for a fighter, which is a good use of all those feats. One suggestion - make the second weapon a 2-hander to get the 1.5x str bonus. That way you get some extra damage against crit-immune enemies. I recommend that it also be blunt for undead (great flail, etc.). Making the primary one a high threat range like scim or rapier is a good idea also, as you already noted.
