In the spirit (as of late) of pure builds, I present the orcish savage.

I've played him (but only to 18th so far) on a low magic world. His primary weakness (and he has a lot of them!!) is his low AC. In a group and buffed, he does very very well. He uses his powerattack quite effectively as well.

On the whole a solid Barbarian build.

Your Fort Save should be 28 and Will should be 15 btw.

Couple of thoughts for you...

Are you committed to Thundering Rage being in the build? An additional 2d6 damage is nice, but the deafness is only 50% after all.

With the following changes you could keep the same AB, HP and DR, whilst improving your Reflex save and base AC by 2 points. You would also have a maxed value in Taunt (43[41]).

STR 16
DEX 14
CON 16
WIS 8
INT 10
CHA 6

24: Barbarian(24): CON+1, Epic Skill Focus: Intimidate, Terrifying Rage, (CON=21)
36: Barbarian(36): STR+1, Armor Skin, Epic Weapon Focus: Greataxe, (STR=25)
40: Barbarian(40): CON+1, Epic Prowess, (CON=22)

Outputs:
Hitpoints: 760
Skillpoints: 172
Saving Throws (Fortitude/Will/Reflex): 28/15/18
Saving Throw bonuses: Traps: +5
BAB: 30
AB (max, naked): 42 (melee), 33 (ranged)
AC (naked/mundane armor/shield only): 18/26
Skills:
Discipline 43(51), Heal 3(2), Intimidate 43(51), Taunt 43(41), Tumble 20(22)

Maybe worth considering. Doesn't your 40 in Tumble give you +8 AC? As it is 1 AC per 5 points in Tumble? making your base AC 20 instead of 16. Also, would this build not benefit from DevCrit? I know there is a strong anti DevCrit Sentiment at times here, just wondering if it might not be a good addition.

40 in tumble??? from a barbarian? He has it marked as 20 cross class, which it is. Not sure what you are talkin bout. To answer your question though, yes 40 tumble is +8 or +1 dodge ac for evry 5 skills in tumble (base number only iirc).

I think avado answered your question like no other could...
Oh! Bollocks! I read the point investment as the level it was at. Lo siento.
