Theoretically, you will be able to use your level 5 spell slots for extended level 4 spells, what with your 8 effective caster levels from the palemaster class. Don't count on it; I've never had that work right in game. If you cannot, you may want to consider Toughness for the Extend Spell feat, or Blind Fight.

Good hunting.

PM doesn't provide spell slots to bards or sorcerers at all, as far as I know. Only wizards have that luck.

You just have to do it right. Right-click on the shortcut where you want to cast it from, and pick the extended version from the radial menu. It works good as grease, and YES, PM increases spell-slots. You can have you entire arsenal of Bard spells extended, if you want.

Trollborn Asgardian by the master of the Norse legends, Grimnir himself!

So extend all your level one buffs and save the level one slots for Belagorn's Horn, useful little spell v. the dexers. Extended wounding whispers and extended war cry, heh.
