Note: As a sorceror, it's doubtful you'll actually be able to get all of the spells listed above. I merely listed what I consider to be the best choices. YOu can pick and choose from my recommendations, or simply take what spells you want.

Once again, not much to say about this build. It's a spellblade that I made -way- back in the day. I revised it today, and decided to post it.Here's the progression to get Dev Crit, if you'd rather have that:

06: Red Dragon Disciple(1): Power Attack
07: Monk(1): {Cleave, Evasion, Improved Unarmed Strike, Stunning Fist}
08: Red Dragon Disciple(2): STR+1, (STR=18)
09: Red Dragon Disciple(3): Weapon Focus: Kama

23: Sorcerer(11)
24: Sorcerer(12): STR+1, Overwhelming Critical: Kama, (STR=26)
25: Sorcerer(13)
26: Sorcerer(14)
27: Sorcerer(15): Devastating Critical: Kama

Levels 1-5 and 28-40 are the same in both builds.

The only other build with this combination of classes and with the most emphasis on Sorceror is Ithacan's "Walks With Dragon (And Big Sword)" Build, located here: Click Here

Comments and Critiques welcome, as always.

Here's an idea: replace two pre-epic RDD with Monk, then put the displaced RDD levels in epic at the expense of Sorcerer (so, Sorc 8 / Monk 4 / RDD 8 pre epic, ending up Sorc 24/RDD 10/Monk 6). You'll lose a sorc bonus feat, so move an epic spell to a general level, replacing EP with the displaced Great Strength. You'll lose a few skill points (because you put off the int boost from RDD 9 until epic), as well as 2 caster levels, but your AB will stay the same (-1 from EP, +1 BAB), you'll gain 1 APR and 8 HP, and you can free up 2 pre-epic feats (KD and IKD) if you don't mind putting those off until 40. Worth thinking about.

*edit* You'll gain 1 AC from Monk 5, too.

Good recommendation, but would I actually gain 1 APR with a Kama by doing that? I was under the impression that the only way to possibly increase my APR with one weapon and monk levels would be to take some fighter pre-epic, for full BAB.

No. Your build, as it is now, has 4 APR and would gain a fifth with 13 or more pre-epic BAB. AFAIK

Monk APR's are based on BAB and not on pre-epic ab, for some strange reason or another, because i destictly recall having a monk in HoTU single player that gained an extra unarmed attack at level 22.

APR are always based on pre-epic BAB. The only way you'd get another APR in epic levels is if you added Haste (or activated Flurry).

This signature will self-destruct in 5 seconds... ... Or if you took Cleric on epics and used Divine Power (won't go along with monk's progression, but would give one at 16 pre-epic BAB)

Hmmm, the lack of Empowered or Maximized spell is weird, I would take Empower instead of Epic Mage Armor or Great Fortitude (or both to take also Maximized)...

I like it, nice AB for a caster, and decent casting level. Thanks, Thaxx, I thought about grabbing more metamagic, but when it comes down to it this build is mostly about buffing itself and then fighting, not about casting offensively. The only buffing spell that would help you out empowered would be the stat buffs (bull's, cat's, etc..). If you wanted, you could make room for more metamagic, I just am not really a fan of any meta other than Extend.

By the way, I'd really appreciate any critiques or changes that people can notice. Even if it's an old build, it's one of mine, and as such I'd love to be able to improve it in any way possible.
