This is version 2 of the Bladed Archer. In some ways it's weaker than version 1, but in others it compensates nicely, so that it outshines version 1 in some areas. Bladed Archer, version 1.

Bard 16/FTR 10/AA 14

BAB: +28
AB with mundane melee weapon: +41
AB with mundane longbow: +40

AC in mundane plate (with shield): 29 (32)

HPs: 388*

*For more HPs, one could opt to drop STR to 26 and raise CON by 2 points instead. You'd get +40 HPs and +1 on Fort saves. You'd lose 1 AB and 1 damage (plus a bit of carrying capacity).

Saves (vs spells):
Fort: 24 (32)
Refl: 25 (33)
Will: 18 (26)

Skills (238 points)
Discipline: 43 (52)
Tumble: 40
Spellcraft: 30 (40)
Perform: 28
UMD: 39 (41)
Taunt: 40 (42)
10 left

This version has slightly lower AB than version 1, and also has fewer HPs. Saves are almost identical. This one also suffers from a bit of feat-starvation, but I feel the extra goodies from the Bard (with the Bard/Curse Song and the nice skill set) really compensate for the shortcomings.

That's more like it, a build shouldn't say Cinnabar Din on top without some Bard in the recipe.

I like more this version, the Bardsong and Curse Song should actually make your AB higher, besides I believe he's got better buffs with 16 Bard than 10 Wizard.

You do not want level 6 spells?

Thanks Thax. No, you can't cast the level 6 spells in armor anyway and with only 16 Bard levels, you'd have to get a 22 CHA to even get a spell slot open (since you only get the bonus levle 6 spell slot at Bard 16).

It's rogue, dammit, ROGUE!!! I like this version better than your first one as well. The curse/bard song alone make up for the loss of the wizards spells. I might have taken knockdown instead of called shot and still instead of extend spell. This is a really nice build.
