Same class spread as The Right Hand of Torm (Paladin4/Monk6/CoT30) but with big differences.

This build is an all CHA based dual wielding kama divine spammer (if divine damage itself can be spammed), very high divine damage, with max APR to deal lots and lots of divine damage as no other, the thing is, he will have a very low AB when he's not in Divine Wrath, which makes him unplayable. His saves are quite high, so there's no reason to ask for Improved Evasion.

I already thought on taking Monk in epics, which would give +4 tumble AC at the cost of Epic Toughness and 2 Divine Wrath power, I prefered damage and AB, but it can be easily changed to fit whomever needs/wants more Tumble.

This guy deals a lot of base divine damage, however, by the lack of buffs, a medium magical setting might be best, CHA boosting gear drastically improves power and its duration, but +7 weapons cap AB so higher than that he starts to lose AB advantage.

Level 40 build
PvM, untested PvP

Since his real buffed power lasts very shortly, he should work best in PvP, but I haven't tested how well he fares... PvM would require a lot of rest or low AC enemies.

Fixed feat order to make the build legal - Kail Pendragon

Edited By Kail Pendragon on 01/19/07 14:06

Wow! This is one of the most unique builds I've seen in a while. It almost qualifies as a fire and forget weapon. I guess in a PvP environment this build can cause major pain in 12 rounds. You might also want to test it against dracolich (who can self harm about 3 times) to see how it does. I imagine a demi-lich wouldn't even last a round! It isn't really playable, but for 12 rounds such short lived uberness! Well done Thaxll'ssyllia, I believe this qualifies as art rather than a build.

Two wrongs don't make a right but three lefts do. A monk/kama based divine champion. And you go all the way.

AB is ok when Divine wrath is active and when you smite. But it will be a bit low when not.

Damage output is very good with Divine wrath and Divine might active. You have plenty of uses per day of Divine might/shield. Smite damage is so,so. But at least you have the AB bonus 3 times per day.

I miss more paladin in a build like this, because the spells will be good for the AB.

There is one issue: You need to rearrange the feats so you have Weapon focus to qualify for CoT.

-- BG courtesan Thax, Thax, Thax try to take notes about feat order when building your build in a leveling module (cause you built it and tested it, right?) so that you don't mess it up in the write up.

Lemme know whether you are unhappy with my fast reordering of feats and in such a case PM me your legal variant. Thanks.

Cheers,
Kail

Also, your Level 30 Divine Wrath DR should be 25/+5, I believe, not 5/+1 (a pleasant surprise, no doubt ).

Other than those nitpicks, its a nice one trick pony. Is it Art? Well, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I miss more paladin in a build like this, because the spells will be good for the AB.

Problem with that is, he is already darn near the cap as it is from the Divine Wrath. A +5 weapon and a scabbard of blessing and he hits it, capping his AB at +53, or, if the opponent is evil, he gets another +12 - +18 (depending on Cha gear) for a respectable +65 - +71 (on 3 attacks/ rest).

Not to mention it would spoil what I percieve to be Thax's original goals (maximizing Divine Wrath).

I see your point. A one trick pony taken all the way.
My point is that you haven't much left when your wrath ends.

Eh, disregard this post.

Ariel, Ookla, RIDE! Damned WF comes to haunt me, and I forgot to write a CoT bonus feat at CoT level 8... I'll send you the complete arrangements later Kail, thanks, I'll be more careful in the future

I know that there isn't much left after Divine Wrath ends, that's why he's unplayable. I doubt he'll be too weak in PvM as he still has the other Divine feats with much more uses, 12 rounds of Divine Wrath should be enough to blast anything he can hit, and DR will be of no use. Eh... rest a lot?

Try Divine Fleeing against high AC dudes, if it doesn't works, sue me.

Anyone who wants to consider something as art can do so, I do not want to get into an art discussion... they're annoying.

Thanks to all.
