Get 2 Bard lvls in, Barb 38 just gives you HPs. Also, reverse INT with DEX, the latter is easily fixable with a potion or minor gear, the first ain't (not regarding skillpoints at least, which is what we are interested in).
I'd also drop the preepic skill foci for KD and Cleave (since you are getting PA), or drop them plus PA for KD, Toughness and a save booster.
I'd consider dropping Epic Reputation too for a Great STR, starting STR at 17 and put 2 more points into INT (14) and the last one into DEX (9), to make it easier to bring it to 12.

Kail, thanks for the comments. Barb 38 gives Epic Damage Reduction VI, beyond that nothing which is mainly why the fighter levels are there.
For playability the trade off of DEX for INT could be worth it.
My mistake, missed Cleave. Should be listed at Level 12.
The additional 1 point of DR ain't worth what you miss by not taking Bard, especially if you go for a higher INT: Tumble not cross classed means +4 AC, Spellcraft gives +8 to saves vs spells, UMD available (and UMD is the most powerful skill in game and a game breaker).
You'll get a much more powerful and versatile build by giving up a few HPs and 1 DR.

Depending on where he placed it, he would face an XP penalty. Unless he went Half-orc. _________________ Got Hommlet? World of Greyhawk Action Server (with 1/2 price ales on Mondays!)

Half-Orc would probably be the best choice, yes. _________________ "With Europe liberated, the people of the world turned their attention to that old devil, the United States of America [...] We taught that monster of old the true meaning of freedom." Star Wreck
I'd also recommend swapping Int with Dex. I didn't see any Discipline in the build, and that could, uhh, be a slight problem. _________________ Got Hommlet? World of Greyhawk Action Server (with 1/2 price ales on Mondays!)
Ariel, Ookla, RIDE!

What about human? No STR bonus or Darkvision, but no INT penalty either. Also extra skillpoints, so no need for an INT boost, or at least it could be a smaller one. Plus you get one more feat. But then I make almost all of my builds human so I may be a little biased.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Kail, I understand the use of the Bard NOW, as a skill dump at the end. With 40 in tumble AC becomes much better 21/32.
If I take INT to 14 as you suggest then can MAX Spellcraft, UMD and Discipline as well.
Half-Orc would reduce the skill points which would go against taking Bard and would have to give up Epic feats with Human to get the high CON and STR.
I'm defintely biased towards Dwarf CON at the cost of CHR is always a good tradeoff.

Yep, better to survive a battle than look good dyin! THat's what MY dwarf barbarian keeps tryin to convince those pretty paladins about as he steps over their fallen corpse to kill yet another undead.
I often wonder HOW ugly a dwarf would be with a charisma of 3? Makes you wonder, dont it (I get a 3 whenever my dwarf gets Livin undead cast on him (i am playin prc lately)). I hope that in nwn2 they make a physical change for this modifier! Now that would be cool! In that case, long LONG live the high charisma FEMALE sorcs!!! _________________
