The Calamitous Cantor (playable levels 1-40, PvM/PvP)
Inspired by the recent resurrection of the Ruinous Raconteur (Alright, awesome alliteration!) and blixen71's Amazone which brought it on, I did a little research and was surprised to find not a single build which took enough Bard for LI while simultaneously taking enough WM levels for some serious AB (not that the two builds already mentioned don't have plenty of their own, of course). So, I made one.
AB (scimitar): +44/+39/+34/+29 +5 from Greater Magic Weapon +2 from Bard Song +2 from War Cry +1 (at least) from Bull’s Strength +5 (effective) from Curse Song +extra attack from Haste Buffed AB (scimitar): +59/+54/+49/+44/+59
Damage (scimitar): 16-21 (critical 13-20/x3) +5 from Greater Magic Weapon +3 from Bard Song +2 from War Cry +1 (at least) from Bull’s Strength +increased threat range from Keen Edge Buffed Damage (scimitar): 27-32 (critical 10-20/x3)
AC (full plate, tower shield): 30 +5 from Bard Song +4 from Haste +4 from Mage Armor +2 (effective) from Curse Song Buffed AC (full plate, tower shield): 45
Max HP: 400 +26 from Bard Song Buffed Max HP: 426
Saves: Fortitude: 20 (+8 vs. spells) Reflex: 24 (+8 vs. spells) Will: 18 (+8 vs. spells) +2 to Fortitude from Bard Song +2 to Reflex from Bard Song +3 to Will from Bard Song +1 to all from Resistance Buffed Saves: Fortitude: 23 (+9 vs. spells) Reflex: 27 (+9 vs. spells) Will: 21 (+9 vs. spells)
-----
Spellbook: 0: Cure Minor Wounds, Daze, Flare, Light, Resistance 1: Balagarn’s Iron Horn, Cure Light Wounds, Grease, Mage Armor, Protection from Alignment 2: Bull’s Strength, Clarity, Cure Moderate Wounds, See Invisibility, Ultravision 3: Greater Magic Weapon, Gust of Wind, Haste, Keen Edge, Wounding Whispers 4: Cure Critical Wounds, Dismissal, Dominate Person, Improved Invisibility, War Cry 5: Ethereal Visage, Greater Dispelling, Healing Circle, Mind Fog, Summon Creature V 6: Dirge, Energy Buffer, Ice Storm, Mass Haste
-----
Strengths: -Huge AB, much of which is undispellable and doesn't contribute to the +20 cap -Bard goodies, Lasting Inspiration -Good damage -Giant threat range, which may even be useful with as much AB as this build has
Weaknesses: -Feat starved pre-epic -Mediocre AC, although pretty good buffed in a low-magic environment -Mediocre HP -Mediocre saves, although fine vs. spells

I like this bardie-builds. The only comment ont this one is that I would absolutly drop STR to 26 and raise INT and DEX to 14 for the skills and the extra reflex. Specially he skills. Only loose 1AB/DAM in this awsome offensive build almost doesnt affect him at all.
Totally agree, start 14 STR and DEX 14, INT 14 and drop one Great STR. You'll be able to max out Taunt too, get ESF: Perform to reach 50 perform on your own and drop a few points from it too to invest somewhere else. Or maybe get yourself AS, or ESF: Discipline or Taunt or a save booster. There's a lot of choice.

Comment to the buff damage calculation. The +5 from GMW is enchantment damage and does apply after the multiplier if there is a critical hit.
Nimueh - I was wondering when you'd get around to posting one! Great to see, and lots of room for you to maneuver here, for sure, with all those great boosts, buffs and LI, ...
Well done (and cool name, too)!! ~ Tyr

The 14 int/14 dex version does sound better; I was going for big AB, but Taunt and an extra feat would be pretty nice.

Absolutely no, it is applied before the crit and therefore gets multiplied.

I assume you're right Kail. I have to recalculate some builds then! Why is enc dam listed after the crit with the the elemental bunus damages in the character sheet I wonder??
Capital concept, calling this character the Calamitous Cantor, though Cantor conjures cleric to mind. Curiously close to my clever creation's first concept, which changed because of feat consderations. The chance for contusion is 2 more, by comparison. The absent concentration and still spell could cause cautious casting, but can't be called calamitous. At a cost of 1 STR, you could credit DEX and INT by 1, changing great strength for armor skin (lose 1 AB and damage for 2 AC, 43 skillpoints and +1 reflex save) Crikey, I'll cease, lest my cranium crack from constant concentration. _________________ Two wrongs don't make a right but three lefts do.

All the stuff listed on your character sheet gets multiplied, I believe, even elemental. I'm sure about the elemental damage, in fact, because if you add a straight value (say, +10), I've seen that get multiplied on a crit (so suddenly you're doing 30 fire damage on crits, for instance).
The only things that don't get multiplied are the ones that never show up on your character sheet, like Darkfire and Flame Weapon.
Of course, I could be wrong.
*edit* @Mith, Thanks...heehee. I'm not even gonna try to compete with that one.

Crivens! A cacophonous concatenation of clever catch-words and a curious concentration of competent critiques! A crackerjack character concept containing copious choices to conquer a confrontation. Carry on, and cheers!
