Skills: I max Spellcraft and Tumble, anything else is up to you.



You could take Halfling I suppose, saves would go up by one, and your ac/ab I think would also be one higher, (but only unshifted). Personally I like the higher dmg output at lower levels, makes leveling a little easier.

You'll find that without Weapon Finesse and Weapon Focus Unarmed that your ab unshifted is a bit lower than it could be with those feats. DO NOT be tempted to add them. they'll be COMPLETELY useless when you are able to shift. Those feats do not apply to shifted forms.

You could drop Golem and the extra 3 levels of shifter, BUT WHY BOTHER? AC ends the same. AB I believe actually gains a +1 with this build over 24m/6d/10s. Golemform is great for traveling those stupid maps with a lotta doorways. The only benefit is you'll get a +3 to spell resistance. Not a big trade off imo.

On the server I play on, this build should achieve 115AC and 60AB in Dragonform with the best gear. With Improved Expertise AC jumps to 125. Who wanted the ultimate tank?

As of a recent patch (not sure exactly which one), Weapon Finesse works shifted. Of course, it only matters in forms which have higher dex than str, but I think you have a couple of those. well, since golem and dragon are the main forms Finesse does bupkus. Finesse indeed does remarkably little... the only druid shape that has a higher dex than str is the elder air elemental, and the only shifter shape of note that has a higher dex than str is the kobold commando/epic kobold commando (and I think he might get finesse for free; I forget and am too lazy to look it up pre-coffee).

Solid build, a shifter that works out well on a high magic server is a nice accomplishment.

You had a starting STR of 6, I assume it's a typo (fixed it). Also, the Dragon Shape AC is 66 (-2 Huge Size).

I'm curious, what kind of gear do you get there? I can see your AB getting at 57 at most (+6 capped STR and +2 from potions of Bless and Aid), unless you get AB enhancements on armor gear (too odd to be true)...

Your AB virtually caps at 69 (71 in wilderness areas), but you've got no spells nor UMD to get there.

That AC is unreachable btw, your dodge is capped already, natural armor at most will be +5 from barkskin and all other boni become deflection AC so at most you'll get 103 (+6 from capped WIS, +6 from capped DEX, +5 barkskin, +20 deflection bonus).

Definitely scripted, no way to stack AC up in that manner normally.

High magic environments are kinda outta my league (I prefer low to mid magic), it's always interesting to know what happens there.
