First posted build, must give credit to TyrPaladin's Discipline Knight - Monk 9/Fighter 12/WM 19 , as he was the base I used for my Martial Monk(?). Used Shortswords as a server conveinence, most finesseable weapons would do. He can dual-weild, he can take some blows, nice ac, does a bit of damage with the right equipment, can carry a shield when he has to... Would love feedback, kinda ran into a wall at the end, resulting in 3 Epic Toughness's, but I wasnt overly upset with 568 hit points, any input would be appreciated, Enjoy!
Saving Throws (Fortitude/Will/Reflex): 25/25/32 Saving Throw bonuses: Spells: +4, Mind Effects: +2 BAB: 29 AB (max, mundane shortsword): 48/43/38/33/28 46/41/36/31 Dual-Weild AC (naked/mundane armor/shield only): 33/33
Concentration 43(45), Discipline 43(43), Intimidate 4(3), Spellcraft 20(22), Spot 40(42), Tumble 40(50) 15 left over

You could better minmax your feats like this:
EWF at WM13
EP at WM16
AS at WM19
ET1 at WM22, since there's no other feats to pick
use FTR12 bonus feat for EWS and get it right after EWF, i.e. at level 28
Loss: 40 HP Gain: 2 epic feats, for example +2 DEX.

Ideally this build would use kama's, I posted the version I use for a PW I play on where there is a big drop off from Kama's to Short swords in quality to the best of my knowledge, but it would definately benefit from Kama's. Also, I have to edit my original, it was TyrPaladin's Discipline Knight, not monk... Thanks Finn, I kinda get lost in the feat/leveling correlation, losing 40 hp and Epic Will for an extra 2 dex, 1 ac and ab, would definately work...

That said, doing this as a dex build means that if someone catches you flat-footed, you're going to be in trouble.
(There's one other monk/fighter/wm I can think of, by Mith, I think ... ooh, the chicken guy!)

Epic will doesnt have to go, don't know what I was thinking...
Definately a nice change, as the 40 hp isnt fantastic vs. the benefit's from 2 more dex...

I feel your pain joblunts, I once found a PvP server where you'd get automatically booted upon wearing two kamas, those weaklings were afraid of true kama power, but kamas rule, I can't imagine kamas being worse than short swords on a Monk, DMs should not be allowed such sacrilegious powers.
He can use kamas all he wants, but the kamas on DLROH has no bonuses over plain enchantment, whic is a notch down from the shortswords. In that case Monks in there should seek Cleric, Wizard, Sorcerer, Paladin or Bard to buff those kamas with some power. In this build Monk practically only gives Cleave and IKD (probably some early playability too), Monk is probably not the best to take with Weapon Master in that server. You gain nothing with your 14 WIS, Monk WIS AC is denied if you wear armor or shield, which will be ultimately better as you find magical shields.
Also, how do you make damage? you have no buffs or anything to increase damage, with a shortsword as you use this build should deal 1d6+6...
