(b)Walks the Dark Divine v.1[/] Cleric 35/SD 2/Monk 3 Human Alignment: Any Lawful PvE 1-40
The only build with the same class splits is Dust7's Shadowpriest Click Here which is different in very many respects (it is a DC caster in essence, this is a more rounded build).
Starting Ability (allocated points upon creation) to Ending:
Str 14 (6) to 26 Dex 14 (6) Con 8 (0) Int 14 (6) Wis 14 (6) to 20 Cha 14 (6)
I would anticipate wearing armor and wielding mace and board through the pre-epic levels, and then breaking out the monk gear upon epic. This build presumes you'll be able to get almost all abilities maxed with craftable gear upon epic. But the build should be good in almost any setting (clerics are like that). If you are in love with your cleric weapon buffs, you can go kama. I like not being able to be disarmed >.>

since this is not a DC caster, why not C29/SD2/M9?
what's the benefit in taking six more cleric levels?

It's a fair point. You get Greater Wisdom III and IV for free and you need one of them to cast Level 9 spells and the other for the AC bonus from your monk class. Obviously, you get the benefit of the six caster levels and two AB points from the War Domain (mind the cap, however). That compromise certainly inspired the V.2, which takes Monk to 6 to pick up IKD. Taking it to 9 would pick up Improved Evasion and would increase your damage.
Two things I think I'd do differently, upon reflection.
One, take Blind Fight instead of Great Fortitude.
Two, take Epic Prowess and ESF: Concentration instead of Great Strength III and IV.
21 – Monk 1 [Cleave; Evasion] EWF: Unarmed 22 – SD 1 [HiPS] 23 – SD 2 [Uncanny Dodge] 24 - Cleric 21 Great Str I Str 18; Str 19 25 - Cleric 22 26 - Cleric 23 CFeat: Armor Skin 27 - Cleric 24 Great Str II Str 20 28 - Cleric 25 Str 21 29 - Cleric 26 CFeat: Great Wis I 17 30 - Cleric 27 Great Str III Str 22 31 – Cleric 28 32 – Cleric 29 Str 23; CFeat: Great Wis II 18 33 – Monk 2 Great Str IV Str 24 34 - Cleric 30 35 - Cleric 31 36 - Cleric 32 Epic Fortitude Str 25, CFeat: Great Wis III 19 37 - Cleric 33 38 - Cleric 34 39 – Cleric 35 ESF Discipline; CFeat: Great Wis IV 20 40 – Monk 3 [Monk Endurance] Str 26
AB: 25 base + 8 Str + 3 EWF + 1 EP = 37 (quote)
Just noticed that you have Epic Prowess listed during your AB calculations, but its not in the original build.
Yes, I've pm'd Grimnir and Griphook to fix that. The AB will be one less regardless of which way you go (I recommend taking the EP route).

Griphook has been missing for more than a year, which is the reason I am a moderator I think. I would really like to know what happened to him, but I guess we will never ever know. Edit done, anyway. [/offtopic] Cool build. With a nam,e that is almost your signature move. _________________ We are sons of Odin, and the fire that we burn inside is the legacy of warrior-kings who reign above in the sky I will lead the charge, my sword into the wind Sons of Odin fights to die and live again
Well, I appreciate the effort Grim. But while you are a worthy successor, I do miss the Welshman.
