The Overwhelming Bastard is the Dev. Crit. version of the Pure Bastard. I named him Overwhelming, simply because it sounds a bit better than Devastating. Links to similar builds can be found in the other thread.
A Dev. Crit. version was almost inescapable, and I actually came up with two, both of which I will put here. There are some significant differences between the builds, most notably, EDR has here been replaced with Dev. Crit. This version also requires more feats as prerequisites which leaves some till much later in the build than I would like. I use Called Shot and Disarm in conjunction with Knockdown so leaving CS until so late is a big pain, but I didn't really have a choice without putting off Dev. Crit. This build also has a much lower HP but much higher Strength and AB.
Of the two builds presented here, sad to say, I think the Scimitar version is slightly stronger.
The second version is identical except for the Feats. This version uses a Scimitar so probably shouldn't really be called a Bastard Fighter, but... meh...
I don't understand how these builds get 63 Discipline. I thought it should be 53 with ESF:Discipline, but this is what the SS says. _________________ While being attacked by Gnomes: Cale: "By the Gods! They look like children!" Richard: "I know, it's hard to kill just one."
