I lol'd when I saw this. Why Epic Toughness over Great CON? Also, a build with no AC and low AB needs at LEAST better DR than what you have, especially since you lack crit. immunity. Perhaps you should try for EDR III? Yeah, I could have the same HP but better Fort saves with Great Con IV, Epic Toughness VI instead of Epic Toughness X.

I also made a build with 1020 HP using Great Con VII, Epic Toughness III, at the cost of one point of Strength. I don't think Great Con VIII, IX, and X are even possible in a legal build.

As for the lack of DR in a Barbarian build, notice:

Cons: Everything Else!!!

This was just an experiment to see how many HP I could get in a character. I'd be interested to see links to other builds that have over 1000 HP unbuffed. Why Epic Toughness at all? 2 Great CON = 2 Epic Toughness HP wise, + a fortitude save bonus.

Also, why STR at all if you're just seeing how much HP you can net? I'd skip STR for more CON, or maybe that much-desired EDR. HINT" look for a raging defender

It is not possible to get more than 7 Great Con's in a legal build, so 3 Epic Toughnesses are a minimum.

Str 21+ is a requirement for Mighty Rage.

EDR would be taken at a loss of HP, which misses the point of this build.

I made a second version of meat that has 128 more HP:
