There were three builds with the same class combination, but only one that looked somewhat similar, The Silent Throatslitter by avarielo

At the moment, I'm in love with Blackguards, and this build came as a consequence. It has good AB, AC and Epic Dodge, an Epic Vrock for flanking, HiPS, 17d6 Sneak Attack, trap setting, Taunt and decent HP.
However, Fort is mediocre and Will is quite low, but UMD helps. Unfortunately, no ranks in Spellcraft.

Dual wielding was left out because of feat starvation in pre-epic, but it could be done anyways. I didn't feel I needed Knockdown with HiPS, but again, it could be done.

You could drop Improved Sneak Attack and put Epic Weapon Focus in its place, so as to get Epic Skill Focus: Taunt.
Also, the Epic Fiend could be swapped with Improved Sneak Attack.

I just took a more indepth look at the build. It is a very solid dexer! Nicely done.

I wish I was more experienced in dexers, so ill let the more experienced handle it.

Now more than ever: you should listen to avado!

On a more serious note, thanks!

EDIT: I looked at the build again, and one could start with 10 CHA and 18 DEX, and swap some feats in order to end with 34 DEX. That's 1 AB, 1 AC, +1 Reflex and -1 to all saves... so at the end of the day it will be 1 AB/AC in exchange for +1 in Fort and Will.

Since the OP hasn't stated it, the total sneak attack for this build is +17d6 with crippling strike.

Hey! I did!
"At the moment, I'm in love with Blackguards, and this build came as a consequence. It has good AB, AC and Epic Dodge, an Epic Vrock for flanking, HiPS, 17d6 Sneak Attack, trap setting, Taunt and decent HP."

I bolded that part.
However, I forgot Crippling Strike as an added trick. Thanks for that one! I like this particular combination of classes. High sneak damage is always nice, especially when combined with HiPs.

I would, however, make a few changes. First off, the starting stats. Everything looks good there, except that I'd drop 1 point from Str to add to Cha. That way, you can take Divine Shield. Ideally, if you can get your Cha fully buffed (not sure how feasible that is on your server) you can get +7ac. That would help out immensely in a build with Epic Dodge.

Second, I would drop the Epic Fiendish Servant bonus feat entirely, and move epic weapon focus to that bonus feat (or one much earlier). With that, you've just freed up room for Divine Shield. By removing the Improved Sneak Attack feat (does 1d6 more really make a difference?) you could feasibly add 1 more Cha for more Divine Shield AC (and duration) and improved saves, or even take Divine Might, if you're worried about damage output.

Other than that, nice work.

Indeed

I don't like depending on magic items because it is environment dependant. However, I see how in a high magic world Divine Shield would work wonders. Not my cup of tea though.

Yeah, that was more for flavor than anything else. If I'm not mistaken, I suggested dropping the feat. Without buffs the Vrock is pretty useless, but UMD can help in that aspect.

Extra feats, what to do with them??

Thanks!

"Hats off and applause to rogues and evolution" I have a simple suggestion: take Rogue to 20 and Blackguard to 19. You don't do anything with the Blackguard bonus feat anyway (well, the sneak attack feat, but taking Rogue to 19 is the same, so it's like a bonus feat, like ESF: M/S or Hide).

I'd allocate starting stats a bit differently, too. I'd go Str 14 and Cha 14 (leaving Dex at 16). You are a Blackguard, so that Charisma is doubly useful (tripl-y so with Divine Shield). All saves go up one, your AC goes up one on Divine Shield, and you Divine Shield lasts one round longer.

That, plus what Hiwatt said. But build to taste, and certainly, built to your PW.

Cheers,

Ithacan
