This was my first try at attaining HiPs,ED,and SC5, I nailed it but thats about all this guy/gal can do.

Ok so I didn't check the search engine until after I had built this and there are 7 (actually 6 as 1 has a bad link) others listed but none with the same level split.
If I had known I wouldn't even have wasted my time but since it is kinda different i'll post it.

I'm not sure, why do you take 14 Ranger? If it is for dual-wileding I'd say drop it, you'd go better with Fighter for EWS. The APR is useless with your AB, it's definitely not high enough.

why do you take 14 Ranger?

Pre-epic was for ITWF, HP's, BAB (to get 4 apr) and skills (dis,ae,co).

Epic was for skill dumps (dis,ae,co) although I did end up shorting AE and CO.

Also overall RP flavor.

If it had been only for that I would have to agree. Although thinking of it I guess I just don't like fighters, I really don't know why. Maybe I think there just plain or something IDK.

Also there's 29 rog/ftr/sd's on pulse's search thingy, So I doubt I could have came up with a "new" one.

Why not ranger(15), rogue(24), shadowdancer(1) for one additional (ranger) bonus feat without losing anything (but 1d6 sneak attack damage and a few skillpoints).

Also you could move the 10th ranger level into epic levels and instead of a FE feat you could take another feat from the ranger epic bonus feat list.

The two feats could be used for EWF (if your char had WF), Epic Prowess or Epic Toughness.

I was gonna say what Kamiryn already said when I first looked over the build. Rogue 24/Ranger 15/SD 1. You could go Rogue 12/Ranger 8 pre-epic or if you still want SD early Rogue 10/Ranger 9/SD 1. You should grab Weapon Focus pre-epic and use the Ranger bonus feats at 10 and 15 in epic levels to grab EWF and Epic Prowess, this guy could use the AB help. Even if you absolutely must user it as it stands, drop Iron Will (since those two pionts won't help you anyway) for WF pre epic. Then Drop two Great Dexes for EWF and armoe skin. You lose 2 will save but gain 2 ab and 1 AC for it. Getting the 15th ranger lvl on top of that you lose mentioned sneak dice for another AB.

*EDIT* Also, you put ranger in strange places, like lvl 12, 17 etc. It does nothing except postpone your tumble AC. Move ranger 11 to pre-epic to hit lvl 20 with this 11rngr/8Rog/1SD for even another AB. These tweaks cost you nothing, but gets you a few more nice bonuses, which quickly adds up.

Then Drop two Great Dexes for EWF and armoe skin.
If he drops Great Dex he can't take the concealment feats.

I just care about killing first.
Or it might only take a couple hours.

Thanks for the suggestions (Kamiryn, galelabriel and Grimnir77) I tried to work in most of them.

This one has 4 more hp's, 1 more bab, 1 less fortitude save point and 3 less in will saves, 4 less skill points and -1d6 sneak attack.
Don't remember what I had in the original for two weapon fighting but this one is better at that. I messed with the skills a little there's a note at the bottom.

While I agree with the pre-epic build split, I actually would prefer the extra sneak attack die. For me, a dexer's problem is rarely hitting (and with 14 full attack + maxed dex it better not be here), it's more often hitting hard enough to matter. A problem many AB hunting rogue builds overlook. If you can't hit hard enough to overcome DR, you might as well have missed.

I'd be a whole lot more comfortable getting that initial sneak flurry maxed out, especially combined with HiPS so you can come back and hit them again. So I'm not crazy at all about leaving a sneak attack die on the table as the rebuild does. *shrugs* But, building is choosing, my preference is always to make sure I can hit hard enough I don't have to worry about retaliation. As for crit immunes, that's what your favored enemies are for, IMHO. His FE's won't really make much difference, but 3 points does help somewhat against f.ex. undeads and constructs.

I prefer 2 extra AB over one sneak dice anytime. If that connects even a single more blow every 4 rounds you're still in the plus.

It would be decent to only pick Rogue-levels in Epic, perhaps thus ending Rogue 28/Ranger 11/SD 1. That would give 1 more Rogue Feat, and thus freeing a regular feat for EWF eventually mayhaps. Not sure it would though. He depends upon a lot of GrDEXes to attain the SC feats. Getting Rogue bonus feats too early messes it up too, but I haven't done the calculations.

I like this version though. 39 AB dual-wielding is quite decent. (Compared to 35 in the original)

That would not help because he can't spend the additional bonus feat for one of the SC feats. So while taking Crippling Strike or Slippery Mind is not bad it would not free a regular feat.

Customize Character override hak: Modify/dye armor, cloak, ... change portrait, head, tail, wings, tattoos, hair/skin color, rename, glowing eyes... in game. I would really consider dropping your Str and Con to get 14 Wis, so you can actually use some Ranger spells. Your build uses HiPs, and you can stand to have the stacked +20 to Hide from Camo and Mass Camo. Aid is always good for 1 more AB, and Freedom of Movement is a buff you should never be without if you can't help it.

Plus, if you ever use your Animal Companion, even just as a summon to help flank for sneak attacks, you can buff it up with Greater Magic Fang.

Other than that, the revised version looks pretty good. Nice work.
