Although on stock servers this would be a sub-par stealther on most PvP servers Barbarian Rages tend to be modified to give AB bonuses, I made this on one such server (+2 AB 1-14 Barb lvls, +4 AB 15-40)

Barbarian(16), Rogue(14), Monk(10)

+4 AB for being a level 15 Barbarian sounds pretty nice.

I assume that you take Elf because it's a PvP build and the XP penalty doesn't matter, but I don't see any particular reason not to take Halfing or Human.

I also don't see why you take 10 levels of Monk, 2 more Rogue levels can net your the bonus feat for Improved Evasion plus a higher sneak attack with the loss of only 1 AC. Actually, since you're a DEX kama monk with a high amount of APR, I'd take a good look at your damage sources. Your base damage without sneaks is quite low, any amount of DR would be awful, I think you could really advantage from lowering Monk, a lot of it, in favor of Rogue. That's just to keep the cheese, though your AC would be better if you dropped Monk altogether and grabbed a shield.

Besides, switching from lawful to non-lawful so many times sounds a bit unrealistic to actually make the build.

Was made more for arena/pvp orientated servers so alignment restrictions tend to be removed (with the exceptions being BG/Pally of course).

Also monk was taken for the speed bonus more then anything else as where I play HiPs is disabled and stealthers tend to corner sneak making monk speed rather valuable for sneak builds like this.

As for the damage it is rather low as it's a dex based build however again since it was intended for pvp servers it's not all that uncommon to have 1-3 elemental damages on weapons that combined with your sneaks and crippling strike (BEST skill ever) is usually enough to kill non PM/DR builds. Wait a minute: an elf barbarian! As long as it's called Glorfinmad, it's fully alright to play an elven barbarian.

As long as this is the Epic Character Guild its ok to do an Elf Barbarian or a Halfling Paladin or a Half orc Wizard! This isnt an rp guild where any of us worry about such non-sense! This guild, last i checked was about POWER!! lol k, well, not quite, but...

Being hyperbolic is an integral part of Avado's being
Heh, yeah, try arguing "Barbarians can't be elves" to his face in the middle of getting pwned.

Well, you could also say it to his rotting corpse after beating him, also works, everything is valid in PvP

Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Stealth might be fine, but once you lose that...its all down to how much pain you can give and recieve. Rogue sneak damage, may make up for the difference of only 16 barbar levels.

With real life ticking over at insane rates, my own build "blunt force trama" has grown dusty and i havent posted the fixed up variation yet.

Good work getting this out mate.I know of one player, on the server i test builds with, which would like this combo. She is a Elf fanatic with almost every class.

WHAT!!!

I am actually speechless. I am trying to see the connection between barbarian levels and damage vs rogue sneak damage and what??

In my experience, when someone is caught up with a particular race, especially elf, they are really into rping. This build isnt about rp, its about bringin smack down (what rev build isnt!).

PvP (Maybe PvM wouldn't know never tried)

With 9 alignment changes, No Terrifying Rage, Epic Dodge and Crippling Strike not coming until Level 36-39, poor sneak damage output, and a 40% XP penalty to cap it all off, I'd say "No, Not a good PvM candidate."

Ariel, Ookla, RIDE! I'd agree with Grizz here. Unless you play it on a server without any alignment restrictions at all, it's practically impossible really.

Skilldumping with monk in a barb build isn't really a good thing to do. In this case, even in a PvP server, you'd have to take more Barb and monk in groups, they aren't really interchangeable.

To make it PvM friendly you have little choice. Take 16 Barb levels straight up. Then take 4 monk. Then you'll have only one alignment change, no xp-penalty until lvl 16 and if you in Epic tries to balance Rogue and Monk you'll have 20% xp-penalty more of the way instead of 40%.

You'll get the same end result, but about a year or so faster.

Sons of Odin fights to die and live again My apologies, Rev, I have to make an objection to my own post. I shouldn't have made my previous comment the focal point of this build, and instead should have written it as an aside. This build was clearly built with a specific intent in mind, and I kinda threw it off the rails. Sorry for that.

Oh my god, it's a grizz vs grizz fight to the death! Who will win the argument? The frenzied grizz or the calmed and reflexive dwarflord? One thing is certain, his battle will be EPIC.

Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn My money is on the short guy with the full beard. The question really should be, which one will win: the axe swinging one or the bow weilding one? Either way, i hear Griz is leathal...

Nothing wrong with upping the playability of a build, even one focused on the end result. ESPECIALLY since the end result don't change a bit.

Sons of Odin fights to die and live again I wasn't actually expecting this thing to get so much attention lol.

Either way if you have suggestions to make it more viable in any environment then yes, be my guest dissect it D:

But..as to the multiple alignment changes if wherever you might build this isn't too friendly when it comes to such changes I'ld suggest the following:

Barb 1-16
Monk 17-20
Rest the same
Take Weapon Proficiency Exotic at lvl 3
Weapon Focus: Kukri at 6
Move all other pre-epic feats up, remove Imp Two-Wep Fighting

The much better crit range on Kukris should make up for the lost APR
