This is a kind of build request and should be posted in the General Discussion forum. One of the mods will probably move this there.

As for your question, I'm afraid I can't help you, I have no experience with that build yet. Help really needed in creating a good Monk/Wiz/PM...thanks!!! hi

Here is my idea of a "Fearless Monk"

25 Monk / 10 Pale Master / 5 Wizard (Human)

32 Strength <- 18 Strength
10 Dexterity <- 10 Dexterity
14 Constitution <- 14 Constitution
14 Intelligence <- 14 Intelligence
8 Wisdom <- 8 Wisdom
8 Charisma <- 8 Charisma

This Monk has a lot of immunities like to Critical Hits which is a big melee threat, High spell resistance to protect against high damage spells, Immunity to mind spells which covers a large spectrum of statis threats, immunity to being held and paralyse is great for a melee character so they can always get to the action to do the damage and he has 20 damage reduction along with empty body makes this monk hard to hit and do damage to. With high strength he does great damage (12-31) unarmed. 6 attacks possible with the first attack starting at 39 for attack bonus. With your wizard spells if u take all the buffing spells you can up your stats before a good fight. The add ability to summon some extra help in a battle is always a plus. If you take all the criticals you can do great damage. If you take the max HP for every level you can end up with 420 HP atleast if you only take one epic toughness.

First 20 levels are all Monk: giving all stat bonuses to strength and taking these feats: Great Cleave, Power Attack, Weapon Focus (unarmed), Improved Critical (unarmed), improved initiative, Luck of heros, Toughness and, Blind Fight.

The next five are the Wizard levels. Feats: Epic Weapon Focus (unarmed), Great Strength, Overwealming Critical and, Extend spell so the buffing spells i chose last longer. all stat bonuses to strength.

The 10 Levels after this are to Pale Master. All stat Bonuses to Strength. Feats: Great Strength ll and lll, Devistating Critical.

The last five levels are to Monk. All stat bonuses to Strength. Feats: Great Strength lv, and Epic Toughness.

Only Toughness, Epic Toughness, The critical attack feats(3), Weapon Focus, Epic Weapon Focus, Great Strength I - IV and Great Cleave are the real important feats to makeing this a great character. The rest are up the the player discretion.

In the end all skill can be divided up at the player discretion. Proferablly: 43 Disipline, 40 tumble, 43 listin, 43 heal and the rest to what ever.

The Fearless Monk truely has nothing to fear. He can take damage, deal damage, immune to high damaging attacks, very resistant to spells, immune to mind spells, immune to movement hinderances and immune to desease and poison. What does this warrior have to fear? What or who can stand in his way?

Hey thanks! This is a caster version of the Monk/Wiz/PM (actually Wiz/PM/Monk), but it's quite powerful. Can't fight worth a damn, but it's spellcasting ability should hold you in good stead.

Shao-Lin Lich

Wizard 29/Pale Master 10/Monk 1
(pre-epic Wizard 14/PM 6)

Race: Gnome

Stats

Starting

Str 10
Dex 14
Con 16
Int 16
Wis 12
Cha 8

All points into Int

Ending

Str 10
Dex 14
Con 16
Int 26
Wis 12
Cha 8

1 Extend Spell
3 Empower Spell
5 Wizard: Combat Casting
6 Expertise
9 Improved Expertise
10 Wizard: Spell Penetration
12 Greater Spell Penetration
15 Spell Focus: Necromancy
18 Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy
21 Epic Spell Focus: Necromancy, Wizard: Improved Combat Casting
24 Auto-Silent Spell I
27 Auto-Silent Spell II
30 Auto-Silent Spell III, Wizard: Epic Spell Penetration
33 Hellball, Wizard: Epic Warding
36 Epic Mage Armor, Wizard: Greater Ruin
39 Mummy Dust, Wizard: Dragon Knight

* You can switch the lvls at which you take Epic Spell Focus and Epic Spell Penetration if you wish

Epic lvl progression:

21 Wizard
22-25 Pale Master
26-39 Wizard
40 Monk

Equipment:

Robes
Kama or unarmed

Skills:

Concentration: 43
Discipline: 43
Heal: 33
Hide: 43
Move Silently: 43
Spellcraft: 43
Tumble: 43

Total: ~291 skill credits

AB: doesn't matter

AC: 10 base
+2 Dex
+1 Wis
+6 Bone Skin
+8 Tumble
______
27 Naked AC

HP: 334 max unbuffed (assuming +30 from Deathless Vigor)

Note that you get access to all Epic Spells, as well as Auto-Silent spell III (you're stealthy, and this way those friggin Bards and Clerics can't stop you from casting). You also get a decent AC for a caster, especially with Improved Expertise. Make sure to buff Dex and Wis with Empowered Cat's Grace and Owl's Wisdom for best effect (could choose Max. Spell instead, I prefer Empower). Wiz 3/PM 17/ Monk 20 is really a fantastic build...but the Ghoul King summon really sux! I was thinking of either lowering or raising the PM level so that i can get a Greater Bodak or Vampire Mage...any suggestions?

PS: PMs get to summon a Vampire Mage at L18 and Greater Bodak at L14 I'm thinking of modifiying the Wiz 3/PM 17/Monk 20 build so that it only has 14 levels of PM...thinking of whether to add the surplus 3 levels to either Wiz or Monk or distribute between the both of them...anyone can give me any suggestion or guidance?

It really depends...

But I recommend that you put three points into monk for more speed. I am not sure what the percentage of the speed is after 20th level. But if the speed doesn't increase past level 20, put three levels into PM instead because you can get epic spells if you have more than 15 levels of PM. The level 16 is the first level that you can get epic spell if you pick that class at the feat selection level.

Anuis Speed increases every 3 levels, so it will do so at 21. Put the other 2 in wiz so your spells last longer. At least, that's my suggestion.

Have I mentioned I hate IGMS? Screw the summons, it'll suck no matter what. At level 38 do you think it'll make a diff?

Just go wiz 3/monk 21/pm 16 and you'll have the best of all worlds. First 20 monk-3 wiz-16 pm-1 monk. Get ep mage armor and epic warding and nothing will touch the monk. Thanks for the help! I've decided on making a Monk 21/PM 14/Wiz 5, so that my buffing spells can last longer. Can anyone give me an idea of the class level progression? This is one of my 1st epic builds...thanks! I posted my build here too. called "monk/wiz/pm" I agree with evo_dragon. PM summons suck. You don't take PM for the summons, or the death touch. Hmm.. thats an interesting point. "You don't take pms for the summons" to which i agree wholeheartedly. But now heres the thing: i remember reading somewhere in Iconic builds that a pm is about summons.. LOL To change the topic 100000%.. what then is a pm good for (besides the imm to crit, bonus to AC, Epic spells (warding), and a super cool arm! LOL

Peace I don't get where the summons thing came from.. evo was the first to mention summons. We were talking about taking more wiz levels to almost double buffing spell length. (3->5)
Edit: oh and the free metamagic feat at 5 wiz.

And buffing length from 3 -> 5 isn't worth losing 2 ac, epic warding and epic mage armor over. Oh I would agree entirely. But I was going on what Evange said (s)he wanted to do, which was drop 3 of those pm levels. Personally if I were to do the build I'd probably go 18 monk/16 pm/6 wiz.

Have I mentioned I hate IGMS? ... and if you want 9th level spells, I'd recommend 15 monk, 9 wizard, 16 Pale Master. Take PM 16 at level 39 to get both Epic Warding and Epic Mage Armour. Finish up with a level of monk to max tumble/disciple.
