What is a highly recommended character builder module?
I prefer the halls of advanced training myself. Others like the novice to epic trainer. I use the Novice to Epic Character Trainer, and love it. _________________ If everyone is thinking alike, then someone is failing to think.
I like the Novice to Epic mod - I find it easier to use than others I've tried.
You're able to ask the experience giver guy to make you a specific level or to give you a certain amount of XP. So if you level up to 21 and pick the wrong class or wrong feats, you go back to him and say 'level me up to level 20' and you're back down one level. Then you ask to be level 40 again and resume building.
There are well-designed stores in the same area, as well as an alignment changer, crafting items shop and a link to either the official campaigns or an in-mod arena. The arena is a nice feature because it's quite flexible to pick your opponents.
I'd say try them both out, build a few characters and then see which you prefer after a week or two.
