Hi all,

I've just started getting back into NWN after a couple of years and was just wondering how the your DC is figured out for your characters dev crit

its probably something simple but it is starting to bug me!

any help is greatly appreciated

Fresh from the Grimoire:

Devastating Critical
Type of Feat: (Epic) Combat
Prerequisite: STR 25, 21st level, Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved
Critical (weapon chosen), Overwhelming Critical
(weapon chosen), Power Attack, Weapon Focus
(weapon chosen)
Specifics: Whenever scoring a critical hit with the chosen weapon, the
character’s target must make a Fortitude (DC = ½ character level + STR
modifier) save or die instantly. Creatures who are immune to critical hits
are not affected by this feat.

Just quick note though in some of the builds that I have been reading they state the DC for their dev crits as 42 or 44 when their lvls are 40 and their STR 32, wouldn't this make their dev crit DC's ((40\2)+11) which to me = 31? Afaik the DC is 10 + (Level / 2) + STR modifier.

The Grimoire's wrong? NOOOOO, first time for everything I guess TBH I have no idea since I never use dev. crit (it'd disabled on the PW I play and I don't like it anyhow). I am 100 % sure about that the DC= 10+(lvl/2)+STR modifier.

The Grimoire is wrong about the pre-reqs for Epic Dodge too.
