I'll make this short and sweet. For a dex build:

Str 14
Dex 18
Con 12
Int 12
Wis 8
Cha 8

or

Str 14
Dex 16
Con 16
Int 12
Wis 8
Cha 8

In the end it comes down to either:

+1AB +1AC

or

+80hp

I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this. I'm leaning towards the extra hit points but...
HP.. 80 HP means 2 or 3 non crits and if you get critted for 100 and you have 80 HP more.. it still soaks up pretty nice where-as 1AC/AB only help mildly.. if it was just 40HP I might be different..

-DaMouse Hrmm, yes that is what I was thinking. Ok, how about this scenario:

42AB
31 base AC
Epic Dodge
50% Concealment

vs

48AB
32 base AC
Epic Dodge
+80hp

?

Epic dodge and 50% concealment far outweigh 1 AC and 80 hp.

-DaMouse But the one without concealment and +80 hp, +1 AC has plus 6 AB, which IMO, is very much! Im wondering how you go from 42 to 48 AB on a dexer with only 1 dex difference? I mean, on the 42 ab build, you didnt take wpf/epicwf and epic prowess? Or did i miss something?

Sorry, the first build is a Ftr/Rog/SD. Second build is a Ftr/WM/SD. Both are dex based.

Also the 2nd build can use Expertise for an extra 5 AC and still have 1 AB more than the 1st build.
I would had thought a lot of epic monsters have Blindfight when considering persistent worlds, reducing the effectiveness of Self Conceal 5.
