Just curious as to where and why do most Epic character builders play?

What is the OC?

I'm not really looking for PvP (at least not without agreement by both parties), or heavy slow leveling rp...

Thanks

There are lots of servers that allow you to reach epic levels. Check the Guilds and Registry forum (link in my sig) to find some. A couple I've played with epic characters are Amon and Dragonsfall.

Official Campaign or Original Campaign. Refers to the original NWN release by Bioware.

Again, check the guilds and registry forum. If you post with a description of what type of server you're looking for, you'll probably get a lot of replies.

still trying to find a place to settle... hehe I mostly play on Bastions of War - team PvP good vs. evil, though there's no alignment restrictions so u can play evil paladins or good blackguards, lvls 28-40...gold is related to XP with most character reaching their peak in terms of equipemt at around 2,000,000 XP

It's basically all about the builds, the class-alignment de-restriction is so that u can play your build on either team when you're fighting PvP against higher more powerful characters u really need to make the most out of your build => improving your own builds...something like survuival of the fittest!!!

It's a heavy rp sever, but there is a great deal of fighting going on. If I'm not mistaken, they are adding a mages guild to it atm; and there is a guild for rogues being started also.

Dragonlance ROH is back, better than before! and I spend a little time here WoG The problem with BoW is that there are so many changes to every spell and feat you cant just take any of your characters there, but rather make a modified version or get a tailormade new one. Its still not a bad server to play on, as noted, you have to get exactly the most out of your character to survive(longer than 30 sec).

I have played on BoW and got 2 level 40 chars there, but now i'm mostly playing on a low magic PW, 'origins'. But if you want to take your character to epic levels and dont enjoy RP, then 'origins' is the wrong place for you. Team:
Battle of the Dragons
The Great War (Currently being made/improved)
(Server Kadiera or Nr|Five, heck I/we host it )

Action:
Chaotic Legends
Bastions of War

Roleplay:
BlackStone Keep
Three Towns

Currently my favourite servers, which all allow epic lvls pretty fast, except with the Roleplay servers, where it takes a while.

Member of the Epic Character Builders Guild Oh Three Towns isn't bad...

--------------

Team: BOTD (Battle of the Dragons) - Any one of them

Arena: Used to play BoW but the Dragonshifters got butchered and thats what I play for PvP on the most part.

Persistant World: Used to play Three Towns

Role-Play: My favourite of all modules, of all genres is easily Arelith. It is normally full at 60/60 players which makes it fun to interact with people. PvP is quite common and it is fairly balanced for a low magic-item world. The RP is fantastic and the entire atmosphere is great. But dont bother going... you will never get in *shameless bump/ advert*

Played a few worlds, but currently here:

"Wanderers of the Western Heartlands

A persistent world with several years of history, which has recently undergone a rather significant change in setup, may I suggest 'Wanderers of the Western Heartlands'. Found under Role Play, but still has its share of action.

Based upon the Western Heartlands of the Forgotten Realms campaigns, centering on Beregost as the main hub. The Cities are faction based, although Beregost is neutral to all, and all characters have the option to join a faction if they wish.

The Server is player friendly with a balanced world, what we really need is a refreshment of new players to bring in new ideas and new qualities, since the Builders, DMs and Players work together to improve the quality of the world.

General Server Specifics:

No Immunity Items
No Perma Haste
Maximum of +5 to any equipment
Restriction of one Prestige Class per character
Class Restriction of a minimum of 5 levels per class selected.

Client Requirements:

SoU
HotU
CEP 2.0
No other haks required

Forum Address: http://www.picazzo.net/wanderers/

Server IP: 68.188.178.154:5121

I play almost exclusively at The World of Greyhawk (link in sig), which is a nice little rendition of the old Greyhawk Campaign setting of yesteryear. It is a place peopled with NPCs whose names are as common as household words: Mordenkainer, Rary, Tenser, Lord Robilar, Rary, Vecna, Iuz the Old.

It's a big world, and it's hard-hitting Action with a bit of RP. Low to Mid Magic, +5 or +6 weapons max. All classes/feats allowed, and has a Book of Summons (allows casters to choose Summons type), Libram of Necromancy (for customized Undead Summoning), and Rods of Fast Buffing. Barbarians Terrifying Rage has been restored to make that class attractive, and some of the Epic Spell have been given some teeth.

Ariel, Ookla, RIDE! grizz, I have been looking over the information on the WoG server and it seems like something I might like to try out (if I ever get the time). Couple of things. 1. Does the Libram of Necromancy apply to just Clerics or to Wizards who specialize in the school or both? 2. I like the added "umph" to the Barbarian Terrifying Rage. I play at the Wheel of Time: Third Age RP server. It is a mid-magic world (+5 cap), with few restrictions on class choices, beyond Palemaster and Red Dragon Disciple requiring a certain evil status (and DM permission ). Also, certain ramifications for playing a caster class, or 'channeler', though they're still great fun.

IIRC, I believe it applies to whoever has the ability to Summon Undead, and whoever can get their hands on the Libram. Not something sold, but rather found. I believe that even a Blackguard might find it useful, since they have that Create Undead power, but I haven't tested it yet.

Ariel, Ookla, RIDE! I play on Chaotic World Legends for fun. It's mainly for getting rid of stress and just wacking some noobs. All in all it's great fun.

Other than that I play on a Danish server called Zantium. It is a roleplay server and it's is growing. The player base is pretty experienced roleplayers and at the moment the only DK server strong enough to compete with foreign servers.

I would recommend it to any Danish nwn player, because Great Danes stick together ^^ oh let me see I play on Anchorome and Harvest Moon both alternate servers geared twoard rp and hack/slash. Both have some rules to go epic but both let you build a history for your charactor and the oppertunity to influence the world around them though the Dms and builders.

www.rpgmodding.com I play on the same servers as Winterhawk; Anchorome and Harvest Moon.

I want to add that Anchorome has hack'n slash areas for characters all the way up to lvl 40. But to become an epic character you have to qualify through roleplay so people know who the character is and what makes it epic. You also have to complete an "epic quest".
