I'm having a bit of confusion here. Can someone explain to me the +20 AB cap and how some builds can overcome this?
I guess I just don't know what "doesn't" get affected by the +20 cap. I read the list of what does http://www.nwnwiki.org/Attack_bonus_cap but that doesn't tell me how some builds get more.
1d20 roll
+40 BAB
+20 cap
=====
61-80
I've heard refferences to higher ab builds.
Help please.

oops my bad, not +40 BAB, I meant +30 BAB @ lvl 40 of course.Quote: Posted 03/28/07 16:31 (GMT) -- FinneousPJ
On top of that, you can have 30 BAB, EWF, EP, ability score (STR/DEX/WIS), WM/AA boni, Smites, flanking bonus, KD bonus, Wilderness bonus, et cetera.

That's what I'm missing in my logic. I thought it was incorporated into the +20 cap.
*grabs his quill and abucus and re-calculates his new and improved build.*
