I've found a most excellent server, where parties is greatly needed. It is an action server with so many cool modifications and a unique setting. Check out their website and look at it. It is certainly good for alle players who needs new builds to create instead of the old stereotype ones.

You should listen to avado

So, what server do you frequent Avado? I have played at alot of servers in my day. I found, at one time, Amon to be very solid (before they required a hak pak that I never got around to downloading). Amon is about lv 40 chars (getting to lv 40 is relatively easy. My dex cleric I posted soloed to 40 in about 3 weeks playin 3-4 times per week). I havent playd there in over 2 years though.

My current server, and one the only one I have playd on in the last year, Forgotten World. http://www.forgotten-worlds.net/nwn/news.php

If you look through Bioware's Epic character page, quite a few of those builds were originally designed on this server (as i understand it!). The server went to partial PRC about 1.5 yrs ago, so you would have to download that patch. It is a tough ride to 40 (i havent leveled one to 40 yet. closest is 32, the cleric i posted recently on PRC forum here). There are a few excellent builders roaming the server. And, in my humble opinion, IF you have played nwn for some time, the PRC is a really refreshing bonus.

That doesn't make a lot of sense you know. Everyone creates his own build to his own tastes all the time, except for PvP servers where you either take strong stereotypical builds that everybody knows of or die, just about in any PvM server you can make "new" builds whenever you want to, parties can make up for it if you're not using a powerbuild all the time, though I do.

Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Hmmm...interesting thoughts, as always, though there appears to be some neato stuff goin' on w. spellswords on that world (ie. check out subraces and rarities -- oh, and the wis. boost, no wonder Av checked it out (wis + clerics, heh heh, ah, but so true Avado, seems they prefer the sorc and wiz over there, though *sigh*

As to PvP, yeah, certain templates just work, period, depending on gear, adjust around. Not too much creativity, this is true, depending on whether it's one on one arena type vs. party type (parties, pick a role in the group, and away you go ...

pvm/pve (solo) is more interesting to me these days, dare I admit, assuming you actually, truly wanna solo that is (and def., that mountain/PrC = challenge, this is true)... but if not into the solo/power-play, well, yeah, always a party to pick it up for ya (then, that's true of pvp, too, if not even more so, no?

Ah, but then, and just a quick looksy, but seems this place be more about the spellswords (cool, if I'm reading that right, check out the freebie autostills given to sorc/BG's, and the wiz/wm stuff, too Again, just a really, and I mean really quickie review, but if you be into the spellswords, and also some (again, quick review) neato stuff regarding druid-shifter types (check out "doppleganger" -- creature weapon specialization? If that's what I think it means, well, neato (c'mon, Thax, gotta love *that* (but, *sigh* nothing extra for 'em pally's, bards or cleric types it would appear, this is true -- sorry, having fun -- but do like (dare I admit) from time to time the fun of dem spellswords (let's face it, depending on how they're made, spellswords may not for the most part be uber, but they sure be fun, and w. autostills for free (well, heh heh, can always then play a pure mage, too, yes?

p.s. and Avado, for sure, do tell us all more about that mountain (which classes/templates, btw folks, were adopted in many cases by NwN2 (i.e., 4 classes, yes, a whole four (4) classes permitted, to get what PrC gives you in 3 -- pretty neat, and why I imagine Avado refers to it so much, ain't that right, Avado

p.s.s. Saints, am I reading that right, re: spellswords and druid/dopplegangers? bet there are lots who'd like to hear more about all that good stuff, too (specially those creature weapons, how neat

Besto, Tyr

Well IMHO I have never experienced such party-loving server before. I like the social bit of making parties . Also the additional classes available, when you make unique class combinations are great fun. The server loves some pretty awesome spellswords like Bane Knight. The ever loveable combination (sorc/blackguard) to an extend, where you just lose it and say what!? I myself wanted to make a blackguard straight away, because they cut the class some slack and powered it to true strength and power, which suits the status of BG . I am a lvl 25 Lash of Hatred, which makes unique use of the whip. Fun and very entertaining. '

I suggest this server to every player, who wants to make a character that is giving new abilites than prior and actually offers a lot fun time in an easy-to-get-going world Takes all kinds Saint. I have played on a super-hostile server with a steady following for years now. I don't know how I'd get through the day without some gang of do-gooder scum coming for my head. Ah Del, you are lucky. There is nothing like being the badest scum of the world, making everyone want to kill you and then just owning them instead the joy, I hear ya Oh no no no no. They usually get me good. What's this hostile server you're referring to? I need to find a good PvP/PvE server, there aren't too many anymore. If your looking for a good server, that is easy to level, have active guilds and lots of + items. They also have a fully functioning socket system to enhance your gear.

The Dm's are great and are very active with players, roleplay as much as you want, or as little as you want.
Over 100 quests to do, plus a theme.

The server is Trials of NewCastle.
There web page is TrialsofNewcastle.Com That would be Athas Reborn in PWStory. It's based on 2'nd edition's Darksun setting. We got custom races like Thri-Kreen, Half-Giants, Pterrans and about 2 dozen more. All the items are custom, like bone and obsidian weapons. Lots and lots of tweaks went in for authenticity. To download the hakpacks, come visit the forum at http://www.athasreborn.com/forum/index.php Well, looks like we got an influx of about 5 new players at Athas Reborn. Thanks for stopping by and adding your blood to the sands ECB! someone above mentioned our server forgotten worlds dragon mountian - an action pw. the website is www.forgotten-worlds.net.

We have a very complex token system with millions of combinations. leveling is hard and tough, so getting to 40 is quite an accomplishment. The quest system is lengthy, but redundant as some people will comment, but it is an action server, so you have many (100's ) of kill quests with unique and challenging bosses every level from 5-40 (most levels have multiple bosses so you do not always face the same bosses with each char).

we have a partial prc implimentation. we have left off classes that we deemed to buggy or that cause excessive lag. We have limited Pvp, guilds, rp and we are working on a capture the flag system. many folks have been here over 4 years. it is definatly a place to test your power builds, but be prepared to take some time to level.
