O.k. I need elightening again. After trawling through the NwNwqiki for an answer (which I never found), I thought I would turn to those who know...

I am having a discussion about the effectiveness of Invis within the AoE of SoV.

When casting SoV, then casting Imp Invis or Gsanc, will the mosters still attack? If it does then not a problem, however If I am outside the AoE, should the monsters (who have no TS) be able to see me after I cast Invis or Gsanc?

Thank you in advance

Your humble servant IMHO, if you cast a Damage Over Time spell like SoV, Acid Arrow, Blade Barrier, etc... and then cast invis, the damage done by the spell will not provoke an action to cancel your invisibility. Same goes for your GS. If the things you are fighting will be killed ONLY by SOV then you shouldnt be worryin about casting! Take up your mace and strike them down!! I use sov to stunn my mobs, which appears to be quite effective. Then again, I tend to be a militant cleric type.

The danger in what you ask is that they, sensing you have gone, will wander away from aoe, thus negating the effectiveness of the spell. But i like Broms answer.
