i can't find this anywhere on nwnwiki or these forums, or anywhere else, so...

does the DR from a lvl 20 monk's Perfect Body stack with DwD DR? No.

It's only 20/+1 and at level 20+ odds are you opponent is hitting you with something of at +1 anyways, which would make it useless.

Rats can nibble but they won't break skin. DR never stacks, the highest amount that works at the given time i the one that's used.

For example, having both 20/+1 and 9/-, you will reduce only 20 damage from normal weapons and only 9 from magical weapons, never 29.

Damage Reduction only stacks favorably with Damage Immunity.

Damage Reduction only stacks favorably with Damage Immunity.

And with Damage Resistance.

We will die Oh well, of course, but damage resistance covers from elemental damage, it isn't the exact same thing. Immunity + Reduction can work against the same type of damage, but good pointing out anyway.

Come on Thax, by now you should know about physical damage resistance vs slashing, piercing or blunt damage

We will die I hate it when it comes to items... stuff happens and I don't notice, I never wore those I guess.

Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn ...for the record, the 20/+1 damage reduction of monks, though not very useful in melee is great to prevent the effects of magical physical damage. For example, physical damage from Ice Storms, Blade Barriers and Bigby's Middle Fingers!
