Is there any?
Most builds use the Bard only to access the RDD class. Bard
Weapon Master
*insert bard jump class here*

I love bard/ Weapon master/ Pale master heee heee

-DaMouse Bard/Blackguard/Assassin. Not too funny, but damn nasty and as good an RP vehicle (traveling murdering minstrel) as a PvP'r. Somewhere I read that in 3.5 Bards would get 6 skill points and not suffer from spellcasting failure in light armor anymore...

Bard/Palemaster/Shadowdancer

You could call it a ghost.

Possibly you read it in the Systems Resource Document for the 3.5E rules. Those are indeed both true of bards in 3.5E.

As for a funny build, you could always go for bard/dwarven defender (requires an alignment shift). He plants himself in your house, starts singing horribly offkey, and damned if you can even budge him to get him out .

Steve Seems the PRC does not use the 3.5 rules for the Bard going after the manual (gets only 4 skill ponits, no spellcasting failure in light armor is not mentioned).

I've tried to build something like that lately, and I did intend to call it "the Ghost"

It's a master of defence with SC 50%, epic dodge, crit immunity, epic warding, improved evasion, slippery mind and so on. The AC isn't too bad either.
But the AB is a bit shabby.
You can play as a tank as long as you team up with somebody that can hit the bosses.

The PRC doesn't change the base classes that are already in the game. They only listed the details for those classes in the documentation for convenience.

I tried it out a long time ago and found the best idea was 12 bard, 8 shadowdancer at level 20 for +15 AB before starting on palemaster. Ive also tried wiz 4, PM 8 , SD 8. Using the wizard spells to augment the shadow.

It's SHADOWDANCER, dammit, shadowdancer!!! I've been trying to make this build. I ended up with Bard(10), Shadowdancer(10) pre-Epic, and Bard(11), Shadowdancer(19), Palemaster(10) as final build. Syrath, how did your Bard(12), Shadowdancer(8) develop after level 20?

I started with an Elf, stats Str 10,Dex 18,Con 12,Wis 8,Int 14,Cha 14, and boosting Dex all the way (ending at 32), for Epic Dodge and Self-Concealment V.
Pre-Epic feats are ofcourse Dodge, Mobility and Weapon Finesse, but what about the other feats? Can I just pick anything, such as Luck of Heroes, Spring Attack, Toughness, Curse Song or whatever? Or are there special feats that would be recommended for this build?
Skill-wise I ended up with maxed Hide, Move Silently, Tumble, Discipline, Spellcraft(41), Perform(18), Lore(10), and Use Magic Device(35), so that's pretty nice.

By the way Mick Dagger, I don't think Epic Pale Masters can take Epic Warding!?!

Thanks, I just verified this with a Bard(10)/PM(30), and you're right. I guess the otherwise so reliable NWN Grimoire is wrong here... according to the Grimoire, PMs can have Dragon Knight, Greater Ruin, Hellball and Mummy Dust, but not Epic Mage Armor or Epic Warding. Good to know that's not true...

I also played around a bit with this build combination a while back. The concept was called "The AC Queen", I went with minimal bard levels (5 or 6 IIRC) and both epic PM and SD, I think I ended up with an AC of 50ish naked (might be more, but I cant remember exactly at the moment). The main problem I found was that even using weapon finesse the AB and damage output were, to be honest pittiful and the hit points were pretty awful as well.
