I'm going to put him in a box and feed and water him daily so I can access him when I need builds relating to epic dodge and self conceal. This is another build that also fits, which I posted a few days ago. I gets 5d6 more sneak attacks, as well as epic prowess and toughness (although Syrath's build has a free feat at level 18 that you could use for toughness if you wanted). The leveling was designed to have no XP penalty with an elf, but of course with a halfling you wouldn't have to worry about that, so you could squeeze an extra +1 AB out of it if you go monk 12/rogue 8 or monk 8/rogue 12 pre-epic. You wouldn't have to change the stats at all though, as I believe it would take a halfling the same number of points to reach those initial stats as it would an elf. It does give up a few of the low level SD bonuses, like Shadow Evade/Daze and the low level summoned shadow.

Wow, that one's nice too!

As an afterthought, how would you guys do this build (or similar) with the max number of monk levels possible while keeping the epic dodge/scV foundation in tact? Is there any way to squeeze more monk levels out of Syrath's posted build? Monk 35/SD5 is the most monk levels you can do and still get epic dodge.

Yup, and that would also let you get SCV. You'd have 7 regular epic feats and 3 monk bonus feats, and Self Concealment can be taken as a monk bonus feat.

Go monk(16)/SD(4) pre-epic (you could still do it going monk(20) pre-epic, but why put off that HIPSy goodness ), start with 20 DEX and boost DEX all the way. Here's your Epic progression:

21: SD(5) - Great Dex I
22: Monk(17)
23: Monk(18)
24: Monk(19) - Great Dex II
25: Monk(20)
26: Monk(21)
27: Monk(22) - Epic Dodge
28: Monk(23)
29: Monk(24)
30: Monk(25) - Epic Weapon Focus (unarmed), Armor Skin
31: Monk(26)
32: Monk(27)
33: Monk(28) - Self Concealment I
34: Monk(29)
35: Monk(30) - Self Concealment II
36: Monk(31) - Self Concealment III
37: Monk(32)
38: Monk(33)
39: Monk(34) - Self Concealment IV
40: Monk(35) - Self Concealment V

Note that you can actually get Epic Dodge at level 21, since that 30 tumble prerequisite is bugged. 1 rank of tumble is actually sufficient. So, you can move Epic Dodge before Great Dex I and II. I just put it at level 27 so that, if they do ever manage to fix that prereq, the build will still be valid.

Thanks Steve! Now I have two official heroes!

, well, thanks, but I didn't do that much honestly. The fact is, for most Epic Dodge/Self Concealment builds, your epic progression is so rigid (you must have Great Dex I and II, Epic Dodge, and Self Concealment I-V), that as long as you have your prereqs together, it writes itself because there's virtually no flexibility. What I generally do is work backwards, fitting in all the Self Concealment feats after level 32 (generally the first level you can take SC I unless you manage to squeeze in another Great Dex), and then filling in the rest.

It would be better to switch epic weapon focus to level 21. Great DEX 1 does very little at this stage.

That is true. I wasn't really thinking in terms of optimization, just making sure I met all the prereqs I needed to as soon as possible. If I was really playing it, I would take either Epic Weapon Focus or Epic Dodge at level 21, then the other at level 24, followed by the Great Dex feats at 27 and 30.
