Ok, I play on a roleplaying server with a level 30 level cap. What I'm looking for, is a build that can take out groups of enemies (like 4-6 at once) fairly easily, last long without having to rest (16 minute wait time between rests) and has a nice allotment of roleplaying skills. (be it statistics...no min maxing allows...or skills such as persuade).

Any ideas?

Ok, I play on a roleplaying server...

What kind of character/person do you want to play? This should pe your primary concern on such a server.

Is this your roleplaying focus, playing a powerful warrior that fights all the time? If so, then maybe you should play on a hack'n slash server?
Most classes can take out a group of 4-6 enemies, unless they are too challenging.

Quote: (16 minute wait time between rests)

The wait time is probably there to encourage more non combat interaction between the characters.
On the other hand, a single class melee build with long lasting buffs could be what you're looking for. What about playing a combat cleric?

Rogues and wizards (high Int) get most skillpoints. Bards and rogues get the best class skills.

I generally avoid temptation, unless I can't resist it... Hmm combat cleric, that sounds interesting. I'm sure of my race now, I wanna play a drow (so +2 dex, -2 con, +2 int, +2 cha)...how would I go about this combat cleric thing? Does it happen to have large damage spells too? I was thinking of making a sorc/wiz for high damage spells .
