On my pw it is now quite attractive to do something with throwing axes. Now I have no idea how to build one. Is it str or dex?

Was thinking fighter rogue.. something, with epic dodge. Maybe even bard fighter pm. I want to use a shield.

I play in a +7 magic world.

Rygar, great roller of 2's 1 problem with axes, if going pure dex: They weigh a lot. Also be aware that DEX affects your AB, and STR affects your damage. Finding the balance can be tough. A rogue type would get sneaks, thus catching the opponent flat-footed. That would help you hit him. Fighter speaks for itself. And perhaps a bufferclass. Hmm didnt think of the weighting bit. Our pw scripter did something cool where the handaxe works like a quiver. Per rest you can make 5 stacks of 99 special quest ranged weapons (bullets, arrows, handaxes, shuriken).

What I like about a sling is that you can use a shield, but id say same goes for handaxes. Or shuriken?

The quest items have pretty decent damage, so I will go the dex route for the ac.

So now I have to decide fighter, rogue...cleric? Pally? Bard? Sounds like a nice challenge

I havent found ranged weapon (apart from bow) builds. Does anyone know any for handaxe or shuriken?
