*My personal preferences, could be substituted for almost anything, really. My original intention was a PvP build, which is why I never got cleave.

While I like the idea behind of a Barbarian/CoT, it didn't come out as good as I had hoped. AC is low, as is AB unless using DivineWrath(and even then to a lesser extent), and DW only lasts a short while. Damage is pretty good with SmiteEvil with GS8, but there are only 3 uses. His plus sides are his SE damage, his good saves for a fighter-type, and his Terrifying Rage, DC74. His stats also balance a bit after taunting his opponents.

So, any suggestions? I could spend more time with him and probably tweak a little bit, but he's in need of a more serious makeover than I know how to give him.

EDIT:Forgot to mention skills, you'll want to max Discipline, Intimidate and Taunt(max latter two on barb levels), with 20 ranks in Tumble and Spellcraft. Few points left over could go to heal, or whatever.

What comes to my mind, if you're going for ultimate-cheese-super-killer (though I'm not really qualified to speak on this) is maybe add a Tumble class and cut down on the CoT levels (feats few and far between post-epic but good saves) - Bard comes to mind. You'll get Spellcraft as a class skill too and lots of other yummy things

.."..".. Alternatively you could drop CHA to 16 and pump your WIS up instead, taking about 11 levels of Cleric, 10 of COT and 19 of Barb.

This lets you drop Armor Prof Heavy, allows you to cast in armor, increases your will saves and provides a whole host of buffs that can help you. Take Extend Spell instead to allow your buffs to last longer too.

Not forgetting that some domains have CHA dependent benefits, such as War, Strength, Trickery, etc. and yours only drops by 2 points by the end of the build doing this. Hmm, a smiting Barbarian eh? Different. A real quick and easy way to improve things a bit would be to slot in some Paladin levels for COT levels to give you a nice saves boost at not much cost and pick up divine might/shield to make use of your CHA. This will obviously need a bunch of alignment changes though which could be annoying/impossible. The paladin levels count towards smites so you don't lose out in the smite department. Also consider starting with a lower CHA and higher STR since boosting to 18 costs a lot of ability points, and put a few towards STR during level up - wouldn't go over 26 CHA myself. Quick mockup of the above (note after creating it VERY quickly I noticed I haven't picked up extra smiting and that since you take paladin you don't need heavy armor prof, some feat shifting should fix that):

If you can't switch alignment, you could sub in cleric for paladin I guess to get the divine might/shield and -1 ab with lower saves.

Or if you want to be really cheesy, stick in enough sorc. levels for True Strike. Then you just cast TS, smite smite smite dead. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Cleric seems to be my best option(I don't like so many alignment changes, even when available), but with terrifying rage taken earlier than in jwlademann's build(very useful, and intimidate is all but useless in that version until 40). No you can't take divine feats on barbarian levels. Plus I think you need to be an epic barb to take terrifying rage?

as I suspected...
Terrifying rage is available from 15th lvl but you have to lvl up as a barbarian on a feat lvl. The earlier you can get it (because of intimidate skill requirements) is 24th character lvl. Only mighty rage requires epic barbarian... and in mid to high magic worlds is not even worth the effort since greater rage will already push you to the cap.
