Hi guys

Im looking for a cleric build, has to have a minimum of 30 levels (to be undispellable on my server) i want to be a really good caster but also really good in melee due to undispellble buffs. Just note the following classes have been disabled RDD, DWD and COT

Thanks guys

Has the Mordenkainen's Disjunction script been modified on your server to be capped at level 20? The default script is uncapped, although the documentation says otherwise. If the spell is uncapped, then 24 levels of cleric would make you undispellable by greater dispel and lesser dispel, a full mage would always be able to use MD against you. Also a paladin with a holy avenger will always be able to dispel you on hit with a fixed 25% chance. The holy avenger property is hard coded.

Greater dispels cap has been upped to +20 while for my knowledge the buffs Mordenkainen's disjunction strips are mostly mage spells and only a few of a clerics major buffs are gone, correct me if im wrong there. Greater dispel was my biggest threat you see so can anyone clarify the Mordenkainen's disjunction? Are you bound by religions?

Ariel, Ookla, RIDE! Well i will be RPing my religion for my character i have not decided but i would rather not go paladin (to many paladins and protectors of good on my server..........) but other then that im thinking of going neutral or evil probably more likely evil Mordenkainen Disjunction, regarding to the dispel effect (not the breach one) basically behaves as an uncapped dispel, no matter whether your buufs are arcane or divine. Check it out on NWNWiki here and read carefully the notes on that page.

Cheers,
Kail

Mordenkainen's Disjunction has 3 effects:

1) It lowers all item, spell and skin based spell resistance by 10.

2) It automatically removes 6 combat protection spells, look in the NWNWiki under breach to see the list of spells, for clerics I believe it is limited to Shield of Faith, Undeath's Eternal Foe, Spell Resistance and the 8th level aura spell.

3) It dispels all magical effects (e.g. bless, aid, prayer, divine favor, divine power, battle tide, etc.) with a dispel check of 1D20+caster level (up to 40) vs. a DC of 11+caster level.

I can't recall with certainty whether the roll has to tie the DC or beat it. I believe it is beat the DC. In which case a cleric level of 29 would likely be enough to render you immune to the improved greater dispel. I suggest a Cleric 30/Fighter 4/Monk 6, monk gets you evasion, tumble as a class skill and the knockdown feats, Fighter gives you epic weapon specialization and weapon specialization. As long as you are a human and keep the Fighter and Monk levels within one of each other until taking the last Monk level at 40 you can avoid an XP penalty.
