hey all,

I was tweaking the Dwarven Warpriest build to fit into what I wanted to play it as on the world I am on(this is an awesome build by the way, very nicely done); and I ran into a little trouble I am hoping someone can help me with.

The original build in the link is Cleric 26/DD 10/Fighter 4; and came out with an AB of +31 and 648 HP.

I redsigned it to a Cleric 24/DD 10/Fighter 6 with a AB of +32 and 652 HP. I gave up combat casting and all the knockdown feats; and tweaked it around so it had great cleave (more useful for where I'll be playing) and ended up with what I think is gonna be an excellent build. My Spell penetration is 2 lower (30+1d20) so I could fail against spell resistance, but not often and everything else is more playable for what I wanted.

My only problem is this: I am on a RP world where permadeath is very possible, and raises are very costly. I want to gain my level 9 cleric slot sooner; but everything I try to get there ends up costing me 1 point of my BaB. I would like to get level 5 spells anywhere before level 15; while keeping the +28 BaB if I can. It isn't huge of course; but it would be nice to hold onto it if I can

For some reason I try to mess around with those levels 5-15 and it just loses that point of BaB Any ideas? Or is it a wasted effort, and I just need to take the 1 point hit for earlier level 5 spells?

A Role Play, Low Magic world Why do you want a 28 BAB? BAB 25 is the best option for a Cleric, the 4th attack comes at full AB with DP (and that is a HUGE advantage). Besides it lets you get your cleric spells sooner.

My question is, why have STR and DEX at 13? Why not 14/12 or 12/14? Just curious...

He needs the 13 strength for Power Attack, and the 13 dexterity for Dodge. And TSF gets the cookie!

I was playing around with this and I cannot get back to a 25 Bab.

So if anyone can tweak this build to either a 25 BaB or to a 28 BaB while getting the level 5 spells earlier (for raise dead) I would very much appreciate it


I want to maintain the feats; and the spell abilities; but any other way you can tweak is probably cool. thanks again!

Star Wreck you know, I hadn't thought about that 'cause I was trying to keep the weapon feats in low levels for playability. But I should easily be able to tweak it to get all of that; thanks!
