I play on a server that is low magic, but the NPC monsters can hit a 60+plus AC. My Chac is a fighter/bard/RDD. My AC is 69 with +6 Armour +6 shield +6 necklace of armour and + 6 boots. Any build or combo that could get me higher AC. How much AB do the mobs get? And is alignment changes allowed? If you're looking for higher AC, I'd suggest a sort of PM.

Yep, a Bard/RDD/PMcould probably get higher. Possibly a Druid/Monk/(Shifter) with Dragon Shape (but I'm not familiar with them, so take that with a grain of salt).

Can you get permahaste items on the server as well? What about a cloak and/or rings of protection as well? If these are available, I'm sure you can get a higher AC.

Heh, it really depends on his character's level, to me. +6 items at level 40 is pretty low. It's a hell of a lot lower than standard Pen and Paper DnD, definately, assuming the items do nothing else. I consider low magic until +5 since that's what you get with GMW, if the items have a higher enhancement than your buffs it's already mid magic.

But heck, it's a bit subjective, everyone will agree +2 is low and +18 is high but there are no set parameters.

Hmmm, dragons can get ACs of about 80 if I'm correct... you can also consider taking a DEX based build with Epic Dodge... DEX based PM with Epic Dodge gets sick defense though your offense could be low.
