ok i play on a server were theres sneakers, and mages, or worse both lol i have a bard/rdd/assass build now, but its no good against them, they sneak up and attack me, knock me down, and hit me, when i get back up i cant hit them, there like impossible to hit, yet they can hit me. Can someone help me with a build that would pwn these guys please o yeah we have a blacksmith who adds +5 to attack, or enchan, and 2D12 damage from fire, acid, cold, or w/e you pick. and on armor you can get +5 added Ah yeah, getting knocked around all the time gets old pretty quick, doesn't it? Could use a little more info about your server before tossing around suggestions.

What kind of ability score boosting equipment does it have? Is it easy or hard to get the max of +12 to your stats on your gear? Or, do you have to rely on spells like Bulls Strength and such to buff your stats?

Are there any feats, like Devastating Critical or Epic Dodge, that are banned?

Are there any classes banned?

The sneakers you're talking about, they're shadowdancers, right? Corner sneakers? True Seeing is availble?

Any other major changes, like nerfing Divine Power, or Time Stop, or other spells and abilities?

Give us some more info, and I'm sure we can help you out. I think you need to raise your discipline skill im pretty sure thats the opposing check roll. Where do you have yours?

yeah its the opposing roll look here if yours is low (as well as your strength) your going to end up on your arse .

Click Here If sneaks are always getting you maybe find a way to work 10 pale master levels in? That way you'll be immune to sneak attack and critical hits. Maybe a Bard/Assassin/Pale Master would work? Time stop is banned thats the only one i know of, the blacksmith only goes to +5 the rest has to be buffs. ive tryed bard, pale,***, i still get pwned by everyone Druid Elemental shape or Shifter Construct Shape are 2 other methods to be Crit and Sneak immune.

You could make a nice Druid Monk Assassin build, or Druid Shifter Rogue/Assassin.

I suggest assassin since you can dump heavy points into INT in order to boost your Death Attack DC and not affect your STR and DEX (since that comes with most forms). How about this build? It's a variation on one I made before, this time concentrating more on being harder to sneak up on and knock down, although not immune to either. Don't forget the True Seeing spell. The Concentration skill comes late and only reaches 20, so try to buff before combat, and use potions for healing during combat.

The NWN Vault STR-based Bard/RDD/PM. Something like Bard 20/RDD 10/PM 10 or Bard 16/RDD 8/PM 10. You'll probably still have an issue hitting them, but they're not going to be able to do much to you (Sky high AC and immunity to crits/sneaks. As well, if you go with the 16 PM levels, you can grab a couple epic spells. Epic Warding and Epic Mage armor will put a damper on them).

@skydemonp38 - Empyre65 is on the right track in suggesting a high cleric level combat-based build. I really can't stand Palemaster Clerics, personally, but given that mages and sneakers seem to be your biggest problem, a str-based 26 4 10 (or 20 4 16 if you want Epic Mage Armor, and don't mind having your buffs dispelled all the time) Cleric Bard Palemaster with rapier or scimitar and Devastating Critical might do the trick for you. You'd be immune to sneaks, you'd have Str and Discipline to avoid being knocked down, sneakers generally have low Fort and are therefore fodder for Dev, Divine Shield, Cleric buffs and healing spells, Use Magic Device for scrolls, Curse Song so you can self-curse to be temporarily immune to other Bard's Curse Songs, and maybe even Taunt if you go human with a high Int score.

What, you've never made a build without skilldumps? it's not a loss in the fact that you can't always get a third class for skilldumps. Tumble (and UMD too) is not worth enough to change your third class on some builds. Though I would change Champion of Torm for Monk

In that case, how about Clever Cleric (Rogue 10 / Cleric 26 / CoT 4)? You trade WS/ EWS and Dev Crit for max Tumble and trap-handling skills. I had PvM soloing in mind when I made that, but he should be able to handle PvP OK, too. You cans till get Dev Crit at the cost of losing Empower Spell and 2 STR. I'm playing that variation in HotU right now, and I don't miss Empower Spell at all.

Oh, I most certainly have. But, seeing as how I exclusively play PvP, and try to maximize my stats as much as possible, and he's looking for a PvP build, it'd be a shame to lose out on that 4ac. You never know, it could be the all the difference in a close fight.

And yes, the 26 4 10 with monk in it is good too. It would make a good dual kama build.

Yeah, that was more like what I was thinking. The more diverse skillset you inherit when you add rogue into the mix is a thing of beauty. With so many Cleric levels, he might just need the Rogue levels to get a decent amount of skill points, too. Plus, if his server has something like Improved Invisibility scrolls readily available, he could forego Trickery Domain for something like War or Healing, both of which can be extremely useful in PvP.
