I am wondering if anyone has a different take or hybrid on: The War Wizard (Wizard 35 / Rogue 3 / Fighter 2 by grizzled_dwarflord or Punchy the Lich (Wizard 29/ Palemaster 10/ Monk 1)by jjjhhhlll or Weave Warrior (Bard 1/Fighter 13/Wizard 26) by Mithdradates?
I want to cast, hoever am looking for something a bit more melee orientated (perhaps Wiz 31/Rog 3/Ftr 6),as I have no need for all the crafting skills.
Basically, I want the best possible caster with maxed tumble and a decent AB.
That's not asking for much, is it?
Thanks, Angelfire1
You might want to give a look at:

The only way you're going to get more of a melee presence is if you give up some WIZ levels pre-epic to get your BAB up. Note Kail's build takes 4 Rogue and 4 FTR by level 20.
This means your spellcasting is delayed, but you can certainly still build something effective.
Something you might want to consider is a build that uses Cleric to get Divine Power. Something like my Eldritch Crusader build. (Warning: this build can be pretty rough going from levels 10 through 22 or so). _________________ It's rogue, dammit, ROGUE!!!
Thanks for the feedback. I rolled some dice & came up with this: The Master Spellsword Needs some TLC though.
