Hi, I'm looking for a Str based Human Monk/ possibly cleric or wiz / rogue build, but can't find one on pulse cap. any ideas?

I would like at least 24-25 monk levels and 3 rogue levels. your help would be appreciated as I have never gone down the monk-class road.

Thanks in advance STR based human monk is not very specific. You may want to take a look at my Grand Master of Flowers - Monk 36 / Fighter 2 / Rogue 2.

We will die Thanks for the link Kail , but i was wanting to utilise the cleric class for the wisdom, if at all possible.

Apart from the obvious casting ability of the cleric, would there be much difference between your and, say, a monk/cleric/rogue?

k dude, Kail was MORE than helpful. monk cleric OR wiz rogue? str based monk (title) or wis based cleric? dude!!!!

Why didnt you ask for a str based wizard or a dex based sorc? You know i had this amazing charisma based wizard that made one heck of a start on a server a long time ago!

SOrry man. I had to point out the inconsistancy in the questions asked. Oh, and i think Kail did an admirable job responding to your post. YOu left paramiters bigger than the US national debt.

Specific is important when you are looking for help with a build. WIthout specifics, how can anyone guide you to where you are asking?

You should listen to avado

I apologise if my request was a little vague (in VERY vague)

I have started a build using monk and got it to lvl 24 and also took 2 levels of rogue and was wondering about whether to use the cleric or ranger for the buffs.

I will also be using Kail's marvellous build for another character.

I would like to stay unarmed if possible (I know you guys would advise against it, but for RP purposes urnarmed would be better)

Thanks for your replies.

At 24 lvls it's a bit late to start out with cleric as it will mature very late. If SR is important to your character, you still have more to gain from more monk lvls.
You didn't say how much wisdom you have given your monk, but if it is 14 or more, you could take 7-10 levels of cleric just to exploit Divine Power. If you take strenght domain you have DP as both lvl 3 and 4 spells. If you take the extend spell feat you can extend DP in your lvl 4 and 5 slots. Then they will last long enough to be worth it.

I generally avoid temptation, unless I can't resist it... Thanks Mick, I realised this after I had started out on the monk route. My Wisdom is at 21 at the moment. Apart from strength domain, which other would you recommend? I probably wouldn't recommend cleric at all this late, but if you go for cleric multiclassing the other domain depends on the environment and how many lvls of cleric you take (what spell levels you get access to). Strength domain is the only one that gives extra DP. War is one of my favorites if you can get lvl 7 spells.
Beware of the the possible xp penalty since you already have 2 classes in your build.
