Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn If you can swing the alignment shift from chaos to law, a barbarian/monk/druid can take away weapons all day. If not than a WIS/CHA monk/COT/druid can do a divine wrath stint to increase AB for a few rounds.

Dragons, high AB apart, have no specific advantage disarm wise; they'll always hit at -4 AB (Improved Disarm) vs any weapon size, same as with an unarmed disarm attempt.

You could always just make a heavy Weapon Master and that's it, high AB.

Edwin Odesseiron - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn I likes me Weapon Masters. Just to play Devil's Advocate, I might suggest something Bard 24-25/RDD 10/Fighter 5-6. You can use Curse Song to lower Discipline by a lot more than the enemy will like. Your AC will be high too so you will miss a shield less. With the Discipline penalty I think your net disarm check will beat a high AB Weapon Master. Yeah, something with decent AB (60+) combined with a strong Curse Song will more then likely ensure successful Disarms.

Try a 26/4/10 Bard/BG-Pally-Fighter/RDD, should be able to hit up to a -15 discipline Curse Song, more the enough to cripple someones discipline Lots of servers disable this, but a disarm done with an unarmed strike puts the weapon directly into your inventory instead of on the ground. This makes drakeshape desirabe. ty for all suggestions its a mid magic world.

If it's a place where people can get huge bonuses to skills then you might have trouble disarming them no matter what build you use. I've been able to get 100 or close Discipline on STR PCs using no more than +10 per item. I also wondered about PvP or PvM but I figured most people would ask for PvP purposes. NPCs are cheating scoundrels too, with their illegal builds and possible immunity to disarm. This is a good disarm build, but note that it's designed for level 40, not for levelling up (for example, it doesn't get Improved Unarmed Strike until level 21, despite taking WF:unarmed early). Uses SD for HiPS, sneak up and disarm. Unarmed AB is 46, +6 against Favored enemies (and takes all player races as FE's).

Pros: High AB, high AC, ED, HiPS, all Ranger buffs. Cons: not designed for levelling up, low damage output.

I saw this build on a PW where it was being used to abuse other players. Sneaks up, disarms, and runs off with your nice shiny weapons. Can kill disarmed opponents so long as they don't have too much DR. IKD and SF are also reasonably effective for him.

TM Where'd you hide BoE? Also, FE doesn't add to AB. BoE does.
