I've been trying to think of a build that would be alo of fun to play and looking at the bonuses of the classes.

How would a bard, pale master, weapon master work?

what i was thinking is i dont care for dev crit. I thought it would be fun to be crit imune while being able to dish out lots of crits yourself.

can anyone lay out a build that has at least 10 PM levels and at least 7 wm levels? From the character build's search engine

The Lyrical Lich (Bard 23 / PM 10 / WM 7)
-- ArcticDwarf900
The Dark Reaper (Bard 17 / WM 7 / PM 16)
-- blixen71
Vlaahd The Impaler (Bard 16 / WM 8 / PM 16)
-- dmuzzy
Spear of the Cambions (Bard 5 / PM 10 / WM 25)
-- grizzled_dwarflord
Undead Fencer (Bard 5 / PM 16 / WM 19)
-- Kreestopearq
The Pale Weapon Master (Bard 11 / PM 10 / WM 19)
-- krsboss
Undead Wall (Bard 9 / PM 16 / WM 15)
-- Pendragon2u
Pale Weapon (Bard 12 / WM 8 / PM 20)
-- _bgwells_

the one thing i would look for is pm 16 for 2 epic spells ward and ema (or if +5 is normal, then 15 and just warding) and try to stuff as many wm lvls as possible! but, right now i am distracted by my 8 month old kickin the keyboard, so...

I can tell that you do normally not play bards much.

Unless you go for 25WM you'll most probably be better off with more bard. In your suggestion with 16 PM, you got 24 left to play with. At least 5 has to be bard. So 19 WM is what is left. I would rather suggest Bard17/PM16/WM7. It will be better in every way, most likely. Haven't done any calculus, but I'd actually put my money on Bard23/WM7/PM10. You'd lose out on EW compared to your suggestion, but get an extra attack, way more AB, lasting inspiration, much better buffs, excellent song/cursesong.

Just look at you AB. WM19 gains 3 AB compared to WM7, but when looking at the BAB yours wil at most have 23 while the Bard-heavy one has 26. Already equalled right there.

Don't underestimate bards.

Bard? what the heck is a bard??? OH! is that the wanna be cleric with wimpy spells and that silly singing feat? How can that be a good class!??

I thought the ONLY use for clerics was PM or RDD!!

*for the record, this is ALL rp! I dont seriously mean ANY of it. Bards are great for other things, like carrying my Great axe, keeping me awake late at night, flirting with the ladies, you know, the essentials of adventuring. LOL

Interesting mistype. I had better add it to my signatures LMAO! That's what happens when you have a child kickin the keyboard. More important than that, it would be even better if it were true! *slips into dreaming of the cleric/rdd/pm... oh the power!* A few levels of bard can add to almost any class combo by way of skill-set (discipline, spellcraft, UMD, tumble) buffs and a middling AB. A high level bard is versatile enough to solo most modules and PWs as well as providing massive and largely undispellable party support.

Oh, and bards qualify for the two most broken (OP) prestige classes in the game. There are more people playing super-strong, high HP devcritting scimmy-wielding bard/rdd/palemasters than you could organize a large-scale pogrom to exterminate.
