I'm requesting for an elven STR-based build. I'm finding it hard to create on for myself because of the Favored Class which isn't at all favorable. I tried a FTR/WIZ/ASN, but it felt lacking.

And don't ask why Elf. :3 Would a Fighter/Weapon Master/Rogue or Bard work? If so, at what point are you willing to eat an experience penalty? There are many options. You dont need 2 base classes. You could take fighter/cot/wm. Or what about ranger/bg/wm! In either of these there is no xp penalty. Think outside the box. Amazingly enough, neither of those gives UMD or tumble

I'll translate what i posted above for even the masterly to understand. You DONT have to use the favored class you know? If you use 2 base classes, you suffer an xp penalty if neither is the fav class. SO what i was saying was 1 BASE + 2 PRC classes! To make sure that we are clear, i mean bard/pm/rdd or bard/rdd/wm.

Ones that you wont find in this guild are from years ago. They are ALL tough as nails. They are bard based meleers.

These builds are all nwn vanilla builds, but they may have remants of PRC in them. Just ignore those (like Jump for example).

The one by Stardawg is elven and is TOUGH! If i were the OP that would be the first Id study. PM me if you have any questions with it.

No, he just had Assassin as his third class in the post Ranger Wizard Assassin has some nice synergies if you go Intelligence based. You get some decent skillpoints to distribute to your ranger stealth, which also translates to bonus spells and a higher DC for your death attack. If your level one slots are full of true strike, you can easily land a whole lot of high DC death attacks two handed in one round. Err,the PW I frequent on has this rule about PrC's... they are prestigious and thus, you can only have one. D: I wont mind a XP penalty as long as it doesn't remain my whole character life.

Then find a new world. NWN is WAYYY too old for you to have to follow some dumb asset rule about not having 2 prc. That is absolutely absurd.

on that type of server, i am guessing that there is no real threats cuz not having 2 prc restriction means the dudes dont have any imagination. cleric bard4 rdd10 is the best even with xp penalty. Using a cleric correctly, and with dev crit, you will own the server, literally.

I wish you would tone it down a little avado. People come to this forum from all over to get ideas for builds that they will have fun with on persistent worlds that are vastly different from each other, not to hear dogmatic rants about why clerics are the best class and you should only play them one certain way.

Never ONCE have i ever said that YOU SHOULD ONLY PLAY CLERICS!

I feel sad for you that you feel i cram that down your throats! It makes me sad that we get posters here (or we did) asking for the uberest build, or the best build or any other non-sense along that same ilk. I am glad that you know that cleric IS the answer to that question! My work is done here

Oh, and I NEVER said you have to play clerics ONE WAY! Infact, that would be incorrect, as i adapt my play style to fit ANY situation that i need. The guide is simply the most efficient suggestions i have gathered from working with some amazing players over the years.

In that case I would try a Bard/Fighter/RDD.
Try to keep Bard and Fighter at equal levels as much as possible ending at Bard16/Fighter14/RDD10 or thereabout.
At lvl 20 I would either take Bard4/Fighter6/RDD10, Bard6/Fighter6/RDD8 or Bard8/Fighter8/RDD4 all giving 4 attacks per round and avoiding xp penalty as much as possible

I generally avoid temptation, unless I can't resist it... I can think of quite a few cases where a cleric definitely isn't the best.

To the OP: what sort of build do you want? Any str-based, or do you want something more specific? Any str-based leaves open the idea of Bard/Fighter/RDD, Fighter/WM/Rogue (or Assassin), Paladins, Barbarians, hell, even nearly pure rogues with a few levels of fighter. What do you want to play? Actually, any decent build with decent saves and AB. Spell casting is optional but warmly welcomed. That narrows it down to about 100 builds. WHy didnt you just ask for the uberst build?

dude, no one can help you since you have no idea what you want! I have given you some of the craziest builds out there (none are mine so i can say that) and you poopooed them.

figure out what you want to play, HOW you like to play. THEN come back and tell us. THEN, and only then can we be sure that we wont waste our time AGAIN.
